Nick's Restaurant in Bolton

Have been really looking forward to visiting this new location as we have been to the old Nick's on Chorley Old Road several times and never been disappointed. Unfortunately this new location left us disappointed...the decor felt like an Indian restaurant....not somewhere we wanted for our anniversary. Food was average and we were charged on the bill £29.95 for a bottle of wine which should have been £17.95 ..how many people don't check their bill? Just pay it. ..Not good...Don't think we will be rushing back

Fantastic restaurant right on our door step!We had a lovely meal at Nick's. It was our first visit and certainly won't be our last! The menu had lots to choose from, including a specials board and a wonderful selection of local and international dishes. All cooked to perfection I might add. The portion sizes are enough to feed the hungriest of bellies! The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great and Nick came out at the end asked us if we had all enjoyed. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Been to the Chorley old Rd one many times over the years 1st time at the new place and not disappointed. Food was excellent. Service great. Not a bad word to be said.

Amazing food and really really lovely helpful staff!I've ever been to Nick's before but will definitely be going again. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive.The lamb was so succulent it fell apart on the fork and my wife loved the hake. Portions were really generous and left very full and happy.

Visited on a completely spontaneous date night, we live over 20 miles away and chose a small restaurant at random, we are so glad we came here and will probably make the trip again. In all honesty we felt the area wasn't the best as we parked the car, but once inside the restaurant we had an amazing evening. Food was brilliant, we ordered from the market menu which was an absolute bargain for what we got! From what we overheard on tables nearby, most people were returning customers and it's not difficult to see why. The waiting staff were so friendly and attentive, we were more than happy to leave a generous tip. We were not rushed at all, and had the perfect amount of time between each course to enjoy our evening. Our favourite dishes were the goat's cheese starter and the braised lamb, though everything was lovely. Veg was seasoned perfectly. Spot on.

How have I not already reviewed this place!? I've been coming to Nick's restaurant for years. It is by far the best dining experience in Bolton. Mouth watering food, lovely friendly staff, nice ambiance... it's got it all.It is in the middle of an urban area and doesn't have it's own car park, but there's always plenty of nearby street parking.It's also not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. You will eat like royalty and leave with a full stomach, guaranteed. It is worth every penny. Plus, they often have a market menu which can make a great saving.Seriously, this place is wonderful. I will go back time and time again.

Wonderful establishment-Michelin quality food with a chilled atmosphere! Loved every minute.

Fab food, seafood chowder absolutey full of flavour, filet steak as tender as I've had anywhere and the lamb rack looked, and I am told was, delicious!It was really busy and staff run off thrir feet, but they coped.Defo go again and recommended!
