Papa John's Pizza in Bolton

Terrible service we had a problem with the order almost every time we ordered (won't be getting food from here anymore) they tell you what they have missed off your order will be added for free on your next order but this is a lie. A few times I had to remind the staff of the papa johns guarantee while they were trying to get me to have "added to my next delivery for free" they are liars. *Update, the owner replied but the email address he gave doesn't exist so I'll never be "compensated" feels like a standard reply to make it look like they care just like when I contacted customer service and they sent me a voucher for a free pizza missing the point of the complaint. Still won't order from here. Not ordered from here for a long time and still won't after this.

Excellent customer service from the Bolton town centre team. Ordered via website, and noticed in my confirmation email that I had accidentally chosen the option for collection instead of delivery. Unable to collect as we are self isolating. Called the restaurant to cancel my order so I could re order correctly, and was told not to worry as they would deliver it for us instead. All food came shortly after, piping hot, with a very pleasant delivery driver who wore a mask. Food was all spot on. Was asked on a card that came with the delivery to provide feedback, from Moham, so here you go! Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered the two pizzas at 20:07 by 20:08 they were showing up on the tracker as being in the oven. We rang were advised that they were on the way. At 21:30 they were still showing as being in the oven. We rang again tobbe told they would be with us in 6 minutes. At 21:43 they were still in the oven. Hmmm! Finally! At 21:47 they arrived - COLD

Popped in for a quick lunch while visiting Bolton for a tattoo. £1.99 for a personal pizza!!! Staff were friendly and helpful. The premises looked really clean and it's in a great location.

Ordered at 16:00 18/07/2020 for 18:30 delivery. Phoned at 19:00 and was told that my food would be with me in 20 mins. Food arrived just before 20:00 and wasn't hot.I would normaly lodge a formal complaint with the vendor immediately, but after being blatantly lied to, I didn't think I would get very far with that that.I realise that things go wrong and I am not unreasonable. An honest phone call would have gone down well.The food was OK.

Took an hour and a half for delivery. I had only ordered 2 items. The pizza was nothing special, I've had similar from the frozen aisle at asda. The cauli wings are literally a third of a cauliflower coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried for £4.99. Dont bother.

Ordered from here quite regularly over the last year or so but the last few times have made me decide not to use them again. Ordered in September for someone's birthday and paid for extra dip, wasn't delivered with the rest and when I told the delivery driver he patronised me and then told me there was nothing he could do as it was the last delivery of the night. He also said I could mention it at the next order and I'd get the dip then, but didn't bother in the end.Ordered again last night and paid for 2 extra dips, these again did not arrive. Boyfriend phoned the restaurant and mentioned it was the second time it's happened, received no apology and instead was made to feel like a nuisance just for asking for something we PAID for. The dips don't cost much but it's not the point - it wasn't a tip, it was a purchase. The employee who answered the phone told us he could get the delivery driver to bring the dips round but he didn't know when it would be as there was only one driver.This meant I couldn't enjoy my meal because I had to keep one ear out for the door and couldn't settle down properly. And guess what? The driver didn't even come! Realised after 2 hours of waiting that they probably just hadn't bothered to send them. Very POOR!Can't even find a link for complaints on the website, only a link for the customer service details, which you can't even access without agreeing to share additional personal data with them!I've now paid for 3 dips and not received them and recieved poor customer service instead.Also, we had to cut the pizza ourselves as whoever did it at the restaurant seemingly couldn't even be bothered to do that properly. Not fantastic for £40 worth of food.Unless something is done to rectify this I will NOT be using Papa John's again.

Wouldn’t be returning. Tried placing a collection order over phone and told them about the deal on their website. Store refused to honour it and hung up. Called again, manager advised person on phone to not bother and inform customer to order online as store cannot do more than 30% discount. Called from a different number and got given the online deal of 40% off. Collected the pizzas only to find them to not be the vegan ones. Definitely not worth the hassle. Ruined my experience and didn’t get a replacement for the right pizza either. All in all a rubbish store not adhering to the company’s policies.

Me and my girlfriend ordered pizza from here. When the food came, my order was wrong. When i rang up, they said that I had put the order through wrong and refused to do anything about It, even though their guarantee says "love your pizza or we'll deliver another one absolutely free". So they have gone against their own guarantee! I though the customer was always right?! The person I spoke to was very rude and wouldn't let me speak to a manager. They kept saying i made a mistake and kept blaming me. I will be speaking to HQ about this and naming the person I spoke to! Me and my girlfriend were not at all happy with the actual quality if the food either, it was very bland, dry and sickly. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

The idea of a cheeky treat for the kids Saturday night in thinking delivery would of been 20 mins if you want fast food do not order from here... shocking service, chicken cold, pizza warm . Didn't pick up the phone to explain why / wanted to cancel the order? DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY. 9.23 pm ordered and 11.45 pm delivered finally, so if you order 11 am you will have it for Tea time.Threw half away , Sorry Papa John no repeat business from me....
