Pit Stop in Bolton

THE BEST CHICKEN KEBAB YOU EVER GET I HAVE NOT BEEN HERE FOR A WHILE BUT LAST TIME I WENT TO COUPLE OF YEARS AGO IT WAS AN EXCELLENT CHICKEN KEBAB VERY GOOD ON THE WHOLE ALL ROUND CLEAN TAKEAWAY DELIVER TO ATHERTON AND ALL AREAS. B.B.

The pizzas and kebabs are good. Love their garlic pizza breads, staff are friendly and never waited too long for an order.

I am a regular customer and have been going to the pit stop every week for over 20 years since they opened. This use to be 1 of the best kebab shops in the Bolton area. You use to get good service and value for your money. (Not any more). After 20 years of going it’s sad to say I will not use this kebab shop ever again. The value for your money is no more. There’s better kebab shops that do look after the regular customers and still give good value for there hard earned money. Pit stop was told this by face and they responded with not a care in the world.

Been waiting for 2 hours for food after pit stop took my money, 2 phone calls later I was promised food was on its way and yet no sign. I've been coming here for years but I've been let down far to may times, ill be making a point of advising people not to come here. Absolutely appalling behaviour, and totally unprofessional. Oh and as I write I'm still waiting for my food ....

Totally bad service from this place.ordered food and waited over 2.5hrs rung few times and told driver on way.no he is not you just forgot to do our order I think.deffo won't be ordering from here again and neither will the 5 other people here.realy bad bad service 🤬🤬🤬

Just picked up our order from Pit Stop and on our return home both special kebabs were absolutely covered in chilli sauce (I just wished they would listen)Unfortunately the young ones don’t like chilli sauce and both kebabs ended up being thrown away.At least this time the order was complete as on our last visit a kebab was missing.Unfortunately this will be our last visit hereSorry Pit Stop but you really do need to improve & listen to your customers requirements

worse kebab I had in my life hands downthe doner is greasy and flavourless , much like soggy cardboard. I asked for salad with no onion ls and recieved no salad all onions . the pitta bread looked like it had been through a shredder , I called to complain in which they did replace it but received just lettuce and tomato , where is the cucumber, cabbage coleslaw etc, the only saving grace was the prompt delivery. . so if you want a very poor kebab at very quick speed then order away , I certainly won't be ordering here again

Was passing through Bolton tonight and tried this place again for some time, maybe 7-8 years since last order. The mixed kebab, well, was just about food to feed an old age pensioner, and for desert I think an oap would be hoping for a bread pudding desert to full up on.Quality was ok hence 2-5 but saying that there are takeaway offering same meat quality with twice as much portion.

Five stars for sure. Great takeaway, quality pizza for a good price, kebabs are also very nice here. For me their chilli sauce is the absolute best of any takeaway I've ever tried. Even though I don't live close by anymore I still have to come back from time to time!

After several orders I have been told delivery will take 45 mins each time is over an hour. Tonight has took 1hr 30 mins and the order came wrong which again is not a first. Pit Stop has gone massively down hill in the last 12 months which is a shame because once was know for nice pizzas on a great deal.Just get the simple things right I.e the order and manage expectations with a realistic delivery time or get another driver to support. Also they don’t seem too concerned when you complain by phone.
