First time here, recommended by my local colleagues. First impressions was good, welcoming feel and relaxed ambiance. Dining layout was spacious and comfortable and restaurant was pretty spotless. Staff and service was spot on. Food was very good and some of the nicest Monkfish I’ve had. Overall a really nice evening and looking forward to returning here, or one of the other few Retreat’s when next in the area.

Just have a light lunch there, a Skewer of beef with chips as side dish. Price is roughly £9.5. Food is delicious. The setting of the restaurant is nice. You can relax and have a chat with friends. Staff is helpful and attentive to customers.

Visited at the weekend for lunch. Good selection on the menu. Service was lovely. Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 cocktails. The only thing that I didn't agree with was that some cocktails could be non-alcoholic, which is what I ordered, yet they are charged at the same price as the alcoholic ones....despite the alcohol being the most expensive component. The restaurant is laid out nicely, with a beautiful mezzanine level. Seated in booths, which is lovely when dining either as a couple or with a group.

First time at this particular retreat location and it didn't disappoint. For a start the décor was better than the original retreat on Chorley old.Place was pretty quiet so we managed to snag a nice booth. Food was fantastic! Drinks were aplenty and, as you can see, the portion sizes are huge. They also made us a coke float which was a nice treat.I'd highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding of you like desserts.

Modern & spacious converted church with plenty of indoor, on 2 levels, and outdoor seating with tables under temporary gazebos.Great food with a separate 'light' menu for lunch.Beware, the toilets are up a steep flight of stairs and the service is slow, even on quite days.
