It must be twenty years since I was last in Russell's, we called in for early morning for breakfast which was really good. Nice food at very good prices and a wonderful setting.I won't wait another 20 years, this will be a regular place to eat from now on. 😋

Lovely food....lovely staff x
Brawling
They kicked me out and refused to give my money back after I simply stated that the menu says 2 of everything yet I received what can only be described as half of a sausage with the smallest piece of bacon I've ever seen (which was dry and overcooked) along with luke warm beans and an egg that had been overcooked to the point it was unedable, I was then told I'm simply "complaining just to complain" Here's a tip for you russels1. Hire a chef whom has the ability and experience to cook.2. Have your members of staff learn the most important rule in catering (the customer is always right)3. And last but not least, Sack your chef because he cannot cook to save his own life.In my honest opinion AVOID this place as you'll be nothing but dissapointed, Just like I was.

Only eaten Breakfast here so can't comment on other food, but for the prices charged this place is very average.1st day I had poached eggs and bacon on toast, which was nice but very expensive for what it was.The 2 day I opted for the breakfast deal, it looked good but unfortunately tasted not so good. The sausage clearly had been pre cooked which I understand places have to do, but this felt like it had been pre cooked days ago, rubbery, awful taste and had an unusual smell too.On my 3rd and final visit I opted tor the safe option of just toast and butter. They charge 80p for A slice of toast, it was good toast but really!! 80p???Place has so much potential, it's a real unique setting, with friendly staff.

This cafe is nice, cheap and cheerful. Nice friendly staff and fresh coffee and food. however the only downside that I can pick out is that they do not offer a vegetarian English breakfast. I thought it was standard thing with food places in the UK that they would have a vegetarian option. It was a shame but the food I had was nice.

We love it here. As a family it caters all 4 of our likes and wants. There breakfast is amazing and keeps you full for most of the day. My sons are fussy eaters but here they have it all covered. It's not badly priced either. Everything is fresh and you get plenty on your plate.
