Sanshan in Bolton

The best Chinese in Bolton or even Greater Manchester...It took a while for the order to arrive but this was understandable for a Friday night and well worth it when it did

i have ordered a few times from here and uts great the food is nice and fresh Chinese food ... definitely would recommend

Remarkable unable to discuss food never arrived 45 minutes after ordering was told it was closed funny as 1 hour previously had driven by lights on people being served. Told after my order had been cancelled I could expect my money back in 5 days. Will not be trying this delivery again

Purchased the salt pepper beef and chicken. Disgusting with excessive amounts of salt. This is not authentic chinese cuisine. Tiny portions that had to be discarded as the taste was atrocious.

We ordered here for the first time tonight and will never be visiting/ordering again. The mushrooms in garlic sauce tasted and smelt damp, my singapore vermachelli tasted of nothing but smelt like cat urine and the curry sauce had a layer of grease on the top. The salt and pepper chips and rice were the best part but I will not be recommending this to anyone.

Visiting from America and wanting to vary my menu for the day I tried the Sanshan and it was the best Chinese I have ever had. They are under new management and have really stepped up the quality. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

I love Sanshan 😍 best Chinese takeaway in Bolton imho. Tonight I had chicken chow mein and these lovely sweet n sour chicken balls. I've never had a bad dish from them. Highly recommend.

Went her based on good reviews. I got salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips. I requested extra spicy. When I opened them, the chilli looked burnt, the food was too salty and tasted like no spice at all! Edible food but I wouldn't be in a rush to order from here again. Prices reasonable. Service was friendly. They only accept cash so be prepared

One of the worst chinese ive ever tasted! Arrived luke warm at best , had put it in microwave reaheat it. The egg fried rice was hard , and stale tasting. The chips where stale and hard as well. The mushroom chow mein had a burnt taste and the garlic king prawn was a really sweet tasting sauce . Only redemption was the big king prawns in it . Best part of the meal...the fortune cookies ! Waste of 20 quid !

Sanshan is an amazing takeaway on Chorley old road. Its miles better than the competition in tong Moor, who don't bother to deliver. I mean, why? This place completely outshines them. Quality of the food is better and cheaper! We always come here and it never fails to deliver!
