Slice&Dice in Bolton

Spent a lovely afternoon here playing board games with family. Good value cafe food and playing the large selection of boardgames is completely free.Craig the owner is really friendly and offered suggestions for games to try.

Craig was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to assist me....definitely recommend......thankyou

As a Board Game Geek expected much more from this shop. Staff were almost ignoring us, were unhelpful and uninterested, so we come out without being able to buy anything.

Great atmosphere for nerds and geeks and has a small collection of products to buy. Only issues I have are there aren't enough variety in products to buy and if you have anxiety, it's a little daunting going in as everyone tends to turn and stare as you walk in. Other than that I imagine it's a nice place to hang out and get to know other people with similar interests.

One of our favourite places in Bolton to spend a few hours with our kids and have a great time! The board game selections are amazing. The staff are very helpful. The place is welcoming. The food is good - it's not a pub or a restaurant but the food for a games day is decent.

Good as either a cafe in its own right or as a games venue; absolutely fantastic if you want both! Staff amazingly helpful and got us playing quickly at the same time as serving other customers! Lively enough to have a decent atmosphere, but not too noisy or packed.

Really nice friendly atmosphere.Great if you're a resident of Bolton or new and hoping to make good friends.Fantastic sense of community and Craig who owns it is always very helpful.

Friendly people and great food, great place to spend time and play some games. Owner is friendly and chatting as are all the regulars and are willing to help you out and set up matches with you even if they dont know you.

Great atmosphere and surprisingly chill and well kept for a place regularly inhabited by untidy nerds like me, hah, food is good if a little pricey and they have a wide array of games to enjoy, definitely worth a visit

After scrolling through the 50 reviews the store has gotten around 5 of the owners friends to give it a 5 star review some of these people have set up multiple accounts to boost the shops Google rating in an attempt to salvage the shops reputation after the owners has been very aggressive and rude to customers. Following this the reviews that have been selected by the store to be put at the top of the review list aren't reviews of this store they cannot be found in the list, which is down right misleading. The store owners business partner has left 3 reviews with biased opinions and most of the regular customers have been driven away by the disgusting behaviour of the staff so are more likely not going to leave any reviews I find Nathan Komáromi's review to be a fair assessment of the issues the store has.
