Tasty but a little pricy.Been here for years and never given it a go given one of the dearer options around and one of many to try.I would say as a treat worth a try. Flours and quality good. Definitely wasn't let down. Pleasant staff and nice place. Own parking and good location.Would I try again? They have a few offers so yes definitely, paying full price, probably but would be harder to justify given the other local places which are good also.

We had reserved a table and were seated quickly. Lovely food. It was very busy and we did request a couple of things a few times. It didn't spoil our evening though and we would most likely visit again if in the area.

Takeaway food arrived cold despite living a few minutes away. The main dishes were poor, bland and tasteless and the meat was tough. I wouldn't pay for a takeaway again. Far better takeaways around. Would only recommend you sit in the restaurant.

Great meal. Food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Definitely one to visit.

A lovely restaurant which my parents have been going to for over a decade, always grab a curry from here when I visit home, sip a cobra whilst we wait for it to be done. Couldn't recommend it more! The staff are lovely as well!

Went here for a few months and the food was lovely, our last visit was about a month ago and the food had gone downhill dramatically. We haven't been back since and probably won't be going back either for this reason. Hopefully it was just a one off for the new/old chef but it's damaged our experience. Outside of the last visit it would have been a 5 star review

Had the lunch time offer which was fantastic value but git stung on the drinks which was a shame. £2.90 for a blackcurrant and soda. Some of the other drinks such as wine were expensive too considering the offer was for 3 courses at £9.95. Will be returning though as they staff are good, the food is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. Next time I'll get a beer though!

Went for the first time last night with my hubby. What a lovely place. Beautiful food and setting, staff can't do enough for you, nice selection of wines, will definitely be back and we will certainly have the seafood sharing platter again it is was delicious. I also liked seeing the chefs in the formal chefs outfits and tall chefs hats, looks very professional.

OK, 1 bad takeaway you take as a one off but the meal I've had today was way off the mark. £40 for a takeaway of which mine is currently in the bin. Arrived cold, tasted nothing special but the thing that really is peeing me off is the lack of curry sauce, the smallest of containers left the food dry and stuck in my throat, the sauce I had was also poor in taste. Nope, not again, you can get a better curry for half the price, try Alifs at Blackrod or the Bengal Cottage of which is across the road, both do a way better curry. Check out the photo of the sauce container.

The first time I visited I found the food quite bland and thought the service was quite poor - restaurant was pretty much empty yet we had to ask for poppadoms and ask to take our food order. I visited again on NYE and one word - atrocious! Service was extremely slow, but the restaurant was busy so understandable however, the food was appalling. The food was extremely bland - had no taste whatsoever. The worst part of all - I ordered paneer tikka for my starter and it was like chewing rubber. I took a bite and looked inside and it was yellow/brown, could tell it hadn’t been cooked properly. Definitely won’t be returning to this place!
