Despite hotel being a bit isolated, it was fine for a one night stay, food was lovely both at breakfast and at evening meal 🍴. All staff were very welcoming and friendly.

·

The rooms are clean and have air conditioning, can't complain about the food either one of the best britania hotels iv stayed in

Pleasant week staying with thw britannia Bolton, the service and help was second to non, the room was missing a fridge and a chair for the desk, but was rectified when asked, the food believe it or not was absolutely delicious and the waiting staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome, all in all a nice stay, cheers team, I will definitely stay here next time I'm back this way

Nothing round hotel very quiet. Pub 5mins walk but nothing else. Hotel refurbished very nice but food in buffet not very hot and ran out of choices for main course. Plenty choices of desserts.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Staff are nice, not their fault. The place is a kip. Everything is dirty and smells of old smoke. Glass on front door was smashed and boarded up. We couldn't close the bathroom door as there was a large screw in the lock. Even the salt and pepper was dirty, floors were filthy, mould on curtains. Bar was closed and restaurant was closed the.night we stayed here. We were only staying one night thankfully. Photos online of hotel are not correct.

I have taken videos and photos !! I am currently sat here thinking what on earth have I just paid £70 for. Very dirty very disgusting bed bugs 🐛 dirty net curtains .walls dirty switches and sockets inc paint on them . Room door looks like it's been kicked in and repaired very badly. Light shades are over 30yrs old and broke and slanted. The mattress is awful . The pillow is dirty am currently using my rucksack as a pillow. The bathroom is minging walking flys every where. In the bath foor sink. It stinks. I live out of hotels due to work commitments and this is in my top 3 awful hotel rooms I have ever booked. The main door is under that much pressure it slams that hard and loud sounds like a bomb as gone off. I will be definitely wanting to get a refund definitely not worth £70 feel like am sat in my great nans house very dated and stinks definitely won't be staying here again

Location is best and the rest is ok. VANDANA from cafeteria is a very good person and takes care of you just like an elder sister just because of her I keep going to this hotel

Despite being a bit isolated it was perfect for relaxation. If we had travelled by car this wouldn't have been a problem. Rooms were clean and staff available at reception should you require any bedding or sundries.. loved the stars in reception area

Apart from the location of the hotel, it was all negative. Let me start with the room. The armchair was old, dirty and torn. The kettle lead was broken. The mattress cover is polyester. Very uncomfortable mattress and pillow, I could feel the spring in the mattress. There was an old wooden sliding door to cover the window but it only covered a third. So you could never have a dark room or have privacy in the room. Around the toilet seat was filthy. The car park had a barrier, every time you enter need to press the buzzer and somebody at the reception to open it manually. At one point I had to wait five minutes after three buzzes to be let in. It was not due to security but that there was no body at the reception. It was the worst stay ever. Not worth the money.

Don't be put off by some feedbacks, just arrived at the hotel. The outside entrance is a disappointment, and could do with a makeover. But when you walk inside you are met with a very smart, clean stylish interior The staff have been very friendly and helpful. Our room is spotless, with a great bathroom ensuite.Tea and coffee making facility also supplied.During our stay we ate in the restaurant, and the food was good and tasty ,with a varied selection available, good value. What do the public expect for the little money you are paying Come on give them a chance, and as normal I do not work for this company, they are doing a great job.WELL DONE EVERYONE
