The China Room in Bolton

It is difficult to give a true rating based on this one particular visit . It was a family visit and it was more a case of sampling a mix of various dishes service was good but one thing that seems to be a regular in every place I have dined is that , I always order my drink without ice but it always turns up with ice in it but this time when I was asked wish drink I had ordered and I said the one without ice it was taken back and the ice removed before it was given to me . I usually get it served and drink it with the ice . A minor point but to me Ice seems to change the flavour of the drink unless it's just plain water. Next time I will have a one course meal

Always very friendly, fast service, lovely atmosphere and fantastic food.

Food is absolutely amazing but the customer service is a little let down at times.we stood at the door with out being greeter whilst numerous people walked pasted us,then we sat down for over 15 mins without anyone coming over to even take our drinks order.We go quite a bit and there is always little thinks with the customer service but still can't give it anything other than 5 stars because the food is the best around.

We had such an amazing time! The food was fantastic .. we had the set meal D ..very tasty. The staff was great too..so friendly and they ensured we had everything we needed ❤

What can I say. It was brilliant. I went with a party of 8 people. The food was excellent. The service was extremely good. The staff was first class. The sizzler steak Cantonese style. Was to die for. I can highly recommend. It is totally first class.its 5***** from me.

Came on a busy Thursday evening. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious. The staff were helpful and polite. Can't wait to go back again.

Food was amazing, will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Food was fairly priced as were the drinks. Service was abit slow but was understandable due to the fact they had a big group of 10 in whilst I was there. Would definitely suggest giving this restaurant a try.
