Great experience for breakfast in Father's Day, lovely food and a pleasant atmosphere. Drinks did take a while but they were busy at the time. Would definitely visit again.

·

They've turned an old pub into an attractive, themed gastro pub. Steam engine sound effects in the toilet! Good food as reported by others with me, but my burger was a bit dry as if it had been cooked a while ago and kept warm. Not the cheapest place to eat and drink but worth a visit.

·

A great pub overall. Well priced, food served in good time and big plates of good tasting food. An observation more than problem, the starter portions are really large, possibly too large, and the children's mains are no different than adult sizes

A Phoenix Pub, the New Look Railway is fantastic, this was my first visit since the transformation (I've moved away from Bolton and had a great evening last night meeting up with an old friend)Attentive service, extensive menu, tasty food all in a great setting with a very pleasant atmosphere.

Had a fantastic time last night the food was amazing and the bar staff was super friendly a gentleman called Danny was so nice advised us on different gins which was lovely and the cocktails was amazing too we can't wait to go again and the ladies and gentlemen who came with our food was lovely and nothing was to much trouble and had great atmosphere all night

Fabulous meal, in gorgeous characterful modern style pub- restaurant. Not too fancy but very tasty food, reasonable prices. Great friendly customer service & not long to wait for food either.

We've only had drinks and nuts here so far but the Atmosphere is great. All the staff are very friendly. I love the way it's done to resemble a real railway.

we decided to stop here for a bite to eat after a walk around Wayoh reservoir. The decor of the pub is lovely and the cleanliness is spot on. A bit disappointed with the stock shortages, we had to change our orders a couple of times because they had no hot chocolate, no fish and no peaches but once the food arrived it was gorgeous. I did feel sorry for the waitress as the kitchen didn’t seem to have given her a list of items they couldn’t serve so she had to keep running back and forward from the tables apologising to the customers.

Loved the atmosphere unfortunately they do not do cashback but do not let that stop you. Seriously enjoyed the brewing ipa ale

Food was good and service was reasonable. I would go again. I like that it's dog friendly and the quirky rail- related decor is a nice touch. The loos are delightful, with train sounds and other railway paraphernalia. Definitely think they should take the goats cheese out of the cheese pie, pie was great but goats cheese really is a bit of an acquired taste and spoilt it a bit in my opinion. Vegan burger highly recommend, would look better with a little salad garnish on the side. All in all a pleasant lunch out. Slightly pricey, but in line with competition in the locality, so fair enough I suppose. Hope they take my feedback on board. We will be returning.
