The Southfields in Bolton

Sorry. I went to southfiends for the first time in a while with the family. It's a great place. The hospitality of the staff is second to none. The beer and pricing of the whole place is amazing. Food is why it is getting a 3 rating from myself. I ordered a mixed grill. I love how you get so much for such a small price however the steak was quite a little bit to well done (for me) the sauce (added extra) was to runny. I had onion ring's on my plate which I feel was 2 day's old and recooked 🙄. If people don't want the food on their plate please don't reheat them for the next customer. 😔. Let down tonight but this doesn't mean this place is off my list. Always room for improvement.

Decent pub food at reasonable prices. Can get very loud and chaotic when busy. Nice to see the outdoor are has been improved recently. Haven't been in for years until recently, now have cheeky weekly visits for food & drinks.

Great meal and waitress was fantastic, can't remember if we got her name but she has blue hair so won't be hard to pick out, she couldn't do enough for not just us but running around all night for everyone, Thanks once again it was a great experience made better by her 5*

Friendly staff and food was reasonably priced and arrived at our table within 10 minutes of orderingWould recommend a visit

Called in yesterday for a bite to eat and a few drinks will definitely be back again! Staff were so accommodating and friendly, food was fantastic came and out in a timely manner. Booked in again for the weekend can’t wait to go back. also big shout out to all the staff in there working over the weekend rushed off there feet and still smiling 🙂

Ran out of chicken nuggets, didn't have chicken platter. 2 wrong meals served. Had to change 2 puddings cause they didn't have them and then one was missed from the order. Our table was booked for 6oclock, so it wasn't even late!

Called for a little bite to eat, food was good, service was good.My only concern was the smell of urine where we were sitting over near the conservatory side, hopefully when we visit again this issue will be sorted

Been over 20 years since ive been in southfields ... have to say the hunters chicken nachos were amazing as were the sticky chicken wings the mains all day breakfast and rhe backyard burger were lovely and all recommended ... the staff were polite service was top notch the pub itself well its lovely clean tidy well presented all in a great pub great food great staff ....

Absolutely loved this gem ❤️. Great place at a nice quiet location. Great food and drinks menu. Very friendly staff as well. This will be our regular now!

Came here a few weeks back with some friends for a socially distanced meal. Couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Upon arrival the manager outlined the policy they have regarding social distancing and the bar, then we were ushered to our table. Ordering was straight forward, you could do it either at the bar or in the app. The food was great, I ordered the mixed grill which was huge. Service was a bit slow but I'm putting that down to Covid and them being short-staffed. My friends all enjoyed their meals including the desserts. All in all would definitely come here again.
