The Three Pigeons in Bolton

It was busy and I understand that I had to wait 1 hour. Wish I was informed at the till. Food portions were small, items missing (again informed at till) and we left still feeling hungry.

In and out like a shot. Not very welcoming on this occasion. I was starving but couldn't find a decent place to sit and be comfortable. Left not being fed and just went home and made tea. Shocking really as it used to be such a good place to eat.

Great food. Very good service. We go twice a month so it can't be bad.

Why do these restaurants offer 50% off on special offers when they don't have enough staff to cover all the extra people taking advantage of the offers. Had to wait for over an hour before the meal I ordered finally arrived at my table.I have had many meals at the Three pigeons but I won't be going again in the near future

Lovely pub full of friendly locals. Only had snack bits from the menu which all come out piping hot and tasted delicious.

We recently visited another Sizzling pub, and I’m glad to say we enjoyed this as much as the last! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly too. We’ll happily visit again next time we’re in the area.

Ordered a skillet, outside says if it's not sizzling tell us and we will change. I had to put my head down to hear it sizzle and when someone asked after I had eaten and I told them, was told you should have said and we would have changed it. Sorry I wasn't asked earlier. Later heard others coming out sizzling, so realised they knew mine was not right as it came to table. Would not go back.

Worst meal by far, three steaks ordered and each one overcooked. Such a shame as the atmosphere on quiz night is fantastic and the bar manager obviously cares, only to be let down by his incompetent cook and uninterested staff.

Service was good. Food was tasty, only downside not enough chips especially for the guy I was with he said it's more like a child's potion not an adult one

Visited for lunch, have been a couple of times in the past. Enjoyed today's visit, ordering via the app, very straight forward. Quick service, great tasting food and good value.
