Went on a whim today as we were busy packing up house to move and it was lovely. Food was hot and fresh. Service was awesome, big shout out to Demi who served us, friendly, big smile and ever so helpful. All in all would definitely return, three happy kids and two very happy parents. We only went out for drinks, the bar set away from the main eating area so was nice and quite and relaxing. Great travel links to get to as next to M61.

Not been to here for a while, took my mum out for a late Mother's Day and to be honest as a chef myself its great food good classic carvery roast, great staff. i didn't get to say bye but Demi was amazing thank you for carrying the plate for my mother. i will be returning as you know its the best carvery in Bolton area.

Came here for a quick refreshment after being out that morning. Place is lovely and clean, staff friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Prices as your usual Toby carvery. We only came for a liquid lunch haha but it soon got really full for the carvery dinners but again staff were quick to deal with it and kept the ball rolling. Well done. Seems it's a popular destination.

Excellent service Gemma was a star and has a high level of customer service skills. Chatty and friendly. The Chef at the carvery made a big fuss of my grandson in a really nice way. The Beef was excellent and plenty of choice of veg all in all a great experience and look forward to going back soon.

We love this Toby Carvery on Watergate Drive. It is a very cozy place with lovely and very friendly staff. The food is delicious with fresh and homemade products, so we always repeat. On this occasion, my partner and I were attended by Miss Carla, who is very nice and attentive, worrying that everything was fine. When we visited it was very busy so may be worthwhile booking yourself a table(s) for the number of people that are going. Even though it was very busy on our visit there was still an excellent level of customer care given, from very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was delicious both from the carvery as well as off the normal menu. It maybe a little dearer than some of the other "carvery" brands but the range of choice on the menu with the portion size, as well as the quantity given at the carvery counter compensate for the difference is price when compared to others. We will definitely be visiting again

If you're looking for a carvery look no further. Staff are attentive and good with the children. We hadn't booked but this wasn't an issue and were quickly shown to a table and served. The choice of meat was good as was the variety of potatoes and veg which all were fresh and warm. The food was delicious with everything just cooked as I like it anyway. Jr finished off with an ice cream as is the way with children and though there was no choice in flavour there were plenty of toppings to choose from. We will definitely call in again

Got our money back and stormed out disgusted. Apart from the lack of actual food, dirty tables etc.The nail in the coffin...... Milk was curdled in the coffees (unsweetened as they had no sugar/sweetners either)For the first time in my life I am contacting complaints departmentUpdate: Response from Manager - We got a refund. Manager has also requested Google remove my pictures - all of them, the curdled milk and empty breakfastbar images were a true representation!I did clearly state above "got money back and left"
