Whiteside's in Bolton

I called for a massive order for our school just before opening time. Staff were very friendly, and happy to offer to help in the future. Really quick service and tasted amazing. Will be coming again.

I went today for the first and last time I may as well as thrown my money straight in the bin as it was disgusting food.The chips had more black eyes than a boxing convention and had a weird taste and the curry sauce had a powdery texture and left a horrid after taste PLEASE AVOID. Also won't let you rate no stars you have to give one or cannot post review but not even worthy of one star.Should of gone Mandys bakery across the road as foods always goodAVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Great chippyOne of the best fish and chip shops in Bolton. Iv been here now a number of times and they never disappoint.

I went to Whitesides last night for the first time, but it definitely won't be the last time. Fish and chips were the best I have had in a long time. Service was excellent too. Thank you Whitesides

Waited an hour and 20 outside of the shop to get my order and deeply disappointed when I finally got my order. 1/2 a fish. The shop were to busy serving online orders to care about the people waiting outside. Think next time I'll go to Bennetts Lane or Olympus in town, it will certainly be quicker and probably more value for money

Rank.Barely enough meat to call it a shrimp let alone a cod. Overcooked and greasy batter. Chips where average too.Add to that they failed to deliver just eat order, probs best to avoid this place altogether.

Best in Bolton.Lived here for 15 years, stopped eating F&C as none were any good, till I came across Whitesides. Top drawer. Astonished Bolton News missed this gem.

Fish is small as a tadpole! Absolutely feel cheated today! Fish had no taste and the chips were bland as Anything! Disgusting how they can charge £4 for a tasteless tadpole! Never ever again will I go here again!

Very disappointed. Overcooked fish and greasy. A moody staff member. Used to be a regular but no more. Much better fish and chips elsewhere with far superior customer service.

Great bunch of lads who are both friendly, welcoming and easy to talk too. Lovely fresh food and nothing is too much trouble. Best fish and chips in Bolton! See you on Wednesday!
