Under new management and I can honestly say lucky star is the best Chinese in Bolton 😋

Would give 0 stars if I could! Absolutely horrific customer service! Ordered the food 2.5 hours ago rang several times and was told a different story each time. Spent nearly £100 and some people didn’t even get to eat. Would have been easier to cook all the food ourselves. No offer of a refund only a discount on next offer. Woman raised her voice at us on the phone. Manager doesn’t speak English so was unable to speak to us. We will never be ordering from them again!! So no money off for this horrendous experience. Save your time, money and energy and go somewhere else! 👎🏻

Ordered this evening and wasn't overly happy about it, it was terrible and arrived within the time stated but the chicken and mushroom soup just littlerally tasted like a weak gravy with bit of chilli pieces and lettuce. Portion size of the curry wasn't great and I ordered a Thai red thinking it would be nice and creamy but it was just really watery and not like a Thai red at all. Salt and pepper chicken wings didn't taste like it just tasted like standard chicken wings thrown in with some chillies and onion. Don't think I will order again. Do frustrating when you finally get a bit of spare money to treat yourself and they can't cook the food properly.

Ordered at 18:59, currently sat here at 21:30 without the food we ordered. Spent over £80 and was repeatedly lied to about where our order is. Despite receiving a message saying it was on its way.Nothing.I’m fuming. The lady on the phone apologised and said we can get 10% off the next order… as if we would ever order again.They should not accept orders if they cannot fulfil them satisfactorily.If I had gone into the takeaway, would I still be sat there over 2 hours later? Doubt it. Despicable service.Refused a refund. I’ll be reporting to trading standards

This was really good the first time I ordered. However on multiple occasions since then food has arrived soggy, tasteless and seemingly undercooked. I really hate to leave a negative review but being this disappointed after a 2 hour wait warrants such.

Been using this place for a while, but in recent months it has gone down hill. Our orders have been messed up on several occasions, part of order missing, when you phone they don't believe you but send missed items out, by the time it arrives rest of meal is cold . NOT GOOD!!!!

I asked if the beef chow main had sauce she said that she could put some sauce but when it came there was no sauce it was so dry it went in the bin I couldn't eat it waste of money

First time ordering from this place as it was recommended and offers local delivery. Myself and my friend ordered a mixed starter, quarter crispy duck and a main course to share. Wow! Everything was fantastic, tasty, fresh and restaurant standard.Thank you lucky star 🌟

HORRENDOUS service. We ordered a small takeaway for our 8 year old child on the basis they advertised as delivering within 30-60 mins. After more than an hour there was no sign of it. When we phoned we were told it would be 2 hours. I asked them to find a solution but they simply Tod me to get off the phone! Clearly falsely advertising quicker delivery times to try and get more customers. I’d avoid if I were you.
