Chocstop Diner in Burnley

Ordered food at 9:08pm. Said it was going to take approx 55mins. Took over 1 and half hours. Called the shop after 1 hour and 10 mins and they said 10 mins because the driver had flat tyre. After 15 mins I rang to ask where it is and he said few more mins. I said the food better not be cold and he confirmed it won't be. The delivery driver eventually came and we asked him if he had a flat tyre and he said no. He said that there were 2 orders with the same door no as ours and he got mixed up. The driver also said he parked up outside my house 10 mins earlier and I saw his car parked up for 2-3 mins with another guy sitting in the passenger seat but decided to go to another address. My food was cold. Tried to complain and get some form of refund but got told that they will give 10% discount if we remind them and order from their shop. Tried speaking with the manager but obviously "managers are never there". Definitely not ordering again and would leave no stars if I had the option.

Took my son for the first time on his birthday. Didn't have the birthday special and wanted to put a tea light on a waffle......

Ordered last night, waffles fine for others banana milkshake tasted ok but clearly wasn’t a couple of hours after drinking this I’ve been Poorly since. Never again.

Ordered a toffee Sunday and they must've messed up my order because half of it was chocolate instead of full vanilla.The toffee syrup and chocolate ice cream is a disgusting combination. Toffee Sunday is supposed to be toffee syrup and toffee cubes on vanilla ice cream.

We went with the grandkids, and they all had the best desserts, it was clean and good service. The pic was the only one I got to take as the rest of the desserts were eaten so fast by the kids haha

Shocking treatment of customers, don't order through uber eats as you won't get priority service they told us, 1 hour 30 mins for delivery then some excuse of there's lots of traffic lights for a 5 minute drive. Let's see if we get the refund they are claiming we are goingvto get. Never had a problem with using uber eats from them before had within 40 mins.

This place HAS gone downhill.. I see by other recent reviews that I'm not the only one to notice either, so the place should take these comments on board. They give descriptions for their sundaes and other items of ingredients and then just mug you off with basic icecream and various sauces thinking you won't notice the difference, also, the special sundaes are a real rip off.. very small portions for nearly £7.00!! really not worth it!

The only reason this place even deserves a star is because there is a lot of seating and is nicely laid out. Otherwise the deserts have no flavour, staff are incompetent and get orders wrong. Ordered cake and complained as it was stale, was mocked by member of staff at the front and didn’t even receive an apology or a refund or replacement. There are better places to go than here.

First time visit. The plus is the interior is nice with plenty of seating. Good toilet and children facilities if you taking family. Parking easy at the train station car park right next door. I had the Ferrero waffle, which I can't rate at all, the waffle didn't taste fresh at all, more like warmed up in microwave. Also had the white chocolate cookie, again not the best I've had, cookie very thin. Disappointed, won't be back. Stick to Sprinkles

Lovely place for a dessert and a chillout. Nice and clean with amazing interiors. Good service and amazing selection of waffles, sundaes and cakes. Movie posters, figures and sofas. Just go and experience it for yourself.
