Kettledrum Inn in Burnley

An impromptu Sunday lunch out. Turned up about 1pm on a busy Sunday afternoon and they found a table for two. Service was quick and the food was amazing, especially the black forest cheesecake!! I'll definitely be going back.

Really nice pub up in the countryside with fantastic views. Warm reception on arrival shown to table. Good selection of drinks and quality food. Booking essential especially at the weekends. Will definitely go again. 🙂

Visited Thursday lunchtime without booking. Fairly busy which I always see as a good sign. 4 different meals all well presented well cooked good portion size. Service very good. Prices generally good value except small portion of gravy @ £2.50!!Maybe I'm out of touch on this point?Overall it's great to see a thriving food pub when so many have had to close their doors. Will return soon.

After a long walk we were welcomed warmly and served a quality lunch at a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back.

Three of us went to the Kettledrum Inn for lunch today . Food was first class, the room was nice and warm . Service was excellent. We enjoyed the meal and we will go back .

Problem with our booking on arrival. They had no record of it however they made arrangements to fit us in without any fuss. That meant food was delayed coming out but I can forgive them because the food really is wonderful. I'd have to say it's one of the best steak n'ale pies I've ever had.

A great pub with brilliant food and friendly staff.

Passing by and called in for lunch, although it was busy and 3 adults and one baby, managed to fit us in then offered us a more suitable table. Food and drinks ordered and was pleased with the service and quality of the meals. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, a great experience for us all.

I recommend booking as they were busy, but we were lucky that a few people were leaving.Very nice food and presented well. Make sure to check the daily specials board. The mains were all over £11/£12 mark. We all enjoyed our meals.I had a vegan curry with half jasmine rice and half chips. We had also ordered a side of chips which didn't arrive and had to ask for in the end.I thought the desserts were over priced £6.95 and the portion didn't justify the price.They didn't have the vegan/dairy free ice cream.Absolutely lovely, friendly staff and willing help.

Popular tradition pub serving a good range of craft beers. Excellent pub classic food. We thoroughly enjoyed the steak sandwiches. Dog friendly and attracts ramblers enjoying the surrounding countryside. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
