Fantastic food and service although the lady owner was quite miserable

Park View Takeaway has got to be right up there with the best chippies in the land.The fish is the freshest; the chips are the crispest and fluffiest - they only use Maris Pipers; and the curry sauce has depth and flavour - truly finger licking good.I always look forward to going to Turf Moor. It has been a happy hunting ground for my team. On this occasion, we lost, but the lovely nosh served up by Park View - literally opposite the ground - went some way to compensating for the 500 mile round trip from London.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great place food lovely and staff friendly

Excellent food cooked fresh from entering the premises. Lovely couple who own the chippy. The best chippy around that area bar none.

A great bar to visit before a game and soak up the Burnley experience. Locals and bar tenders were very friendly, down to earth people.

I ordered for my partner the other day 'Fish & Chips' then was interrupted before I could finish my sentence, and as I was going to say what I wanted afterwards. The Male worker interrupted me and didn't let me order until my partners order was fully ready even then he didn't listen to me, it was someone else who finally took my order, literally surprised me. They weren't busy at all, and yet still showed lack of good manners/service.Hope they don't do this with other people.Honestly if your looking for manners and kind service I wouldn't recommend here.

Been going here for years but the lady owners attitude towards a gluten allergy yesterday was shocking. My daughters a ceoliac and all I asked was if her chips were GF. She doesn't know what GF is but wasn't at all interested in finding out what actually is! I told her she should know! Won't be going back!

Can't fault the food but the high turnover of staff suggests they should consider paying their staff more to retain their services rather than constantly training new people. The service they offer would be more efficient and they would make more profits as new people often get the pricing wrong. I ordered 3 fish but was only charged for 2 and could have had a free fish, but I'm honest and pointed out the error.

Gravy and the curry are really thick, chips were good, not greasy or under cooked. Over all not a bad chippy just need to thin their curry n gravy in my opinion
