Pendle Street Chippy in Burnley

This is one of the best chippy I have been to. The lady's behind the counter where amazing and fun to speak to 🙂

Opening hours are a win, much better than your standard chippy. But the standards don't slip because they're open all day which can happen. Got a chip barm and a battered sausage. Bread was really nice and not what chip shops usually offer. Chips were decent. Battered sausage wasn't hot and had probably been sitting but tbf I did order it because I noticed it was already done. However the taste was all there and it was very nice. Service was fast and overall great chippy.

Great little traditional, corner of the street chippy. Small, but adds to the atmosphere to be bunched up in the queue! Lots of interesting local newspaper clippings adorn one wall, whilst allergy info is placed on another. Great no fuss chippy menu and generous portions - when you order a large chips, make sure you are hungry enough for em! Food delicious and friendly staff. Recommended

Found this place by chance a few months ago when our usual chippy in Padiham was yet again closed . It far excels our previous one by friendliness portion size and most of all quality . Can highly recommend

Owners Mark & Vicky are friendly and chatty. I usually have a cod T-cake for lunch. Big, fresh and cooked to order - can't beat for miles around.

Best chippie in North West. We travel from Rochdale as they are so good.lovely lady runs it and does lightly battered fish on request
