The Golden Orange in Burnley

Well well wellOrdered from here as it was near to the hospitalI Hadsalt n pepper chicken = 1/5 meat was chewy and onions were only just fried and also there just wasnt much flavour.Egg fried rice = 0/5 diabolical egg fried rice mite aswell of been boiled rice, really not good and was like stuck together most likely reheated.Bbq sauce = 0/5 tasted okay but could feel like a gritty texture through the sauce you would have to try it to understand, which i dont advise, just take my word for it honestly.Salt n pepper chicken wings = 1/5 the wings were hot and that is the only positive i can say,again not very much flavour and also meat was not great.So all in all a massive 2 out of 20if i could of reviewed this place at zero i would have done,I hope there english food is better then there chinese because otherwise im left wondering how this business manages to stay open infactIf i was in i.c.u and was given this as my last meal on earth i would end my own life there n then, and then come and haunt the owners untill they shut up shop.Has to be the worst chinese food in the north west

It's all ways busy so proves they sell good food at good prices friendly staff never had any complaints the English food is just as good aswell i even received a thoughtful beautful wrapped Christmas gift thankyou.

Food is 100% staff and owner are friendly

Still the best Chinese takeaway in Burnley and it has been for years. The spring rolls and chicken, chips and gravy are amazing. The staff are very friendly and the price is bang on 👍

Week in week out this family owned business always produceS Good honest food with a smile (even behind the masks).. A real highlight to the week when there is little to do but enjoy a meal at home with the family.. Thanks Golden Orange you are brilliant 😊

Very good Chinese takeaway,that also do fish n chips. I personally think they're the best chips in Burnley.

Extremely good tasty food, fantastic menu not expensive and extremely kind. A young boy about 12 or 13 was on the shop and wanted a large portion of chips and asked the cost, he didn't have enough money he asked the cost for a regular portion then said he would have that. I was just about to offer the difference when the owner said he would serve him the large portion. Recommend this shop in more ways than one....

This is my second time to order from this takeaway. I was disappointed & disgusted when I ordered a portion of Roast Pork in Oysters sauce! 😡It was contained in a SMALL FOIL FOOD CONTAINER and FULL OF BEAN SPROUTS UNDERNEATH!!! What was that all about???I paid £6.50 for 1 ORDER for it but you gave me only HALF portion, the WORST, I ordered Roast Pork in Oyster sauce but you gave me BEAN SPROUTS with a few pieces of Roast Pork Slices instead! What the hell? Com’on people! Be consistent on the quantity & quality of the ordered foods that you served. Don’t try to trick/fool your customers!!!
