Calamari and prawn starter was over cooked, ran out of lasagne so I had to have ravioli which was poorly cooked and was dry and hard. Ran out of cheesecake. So all in all very disappointed with our family meal there.

Treated my mum to a meal out and it did not disappoint. The food had excellent portions and tasted incredible! The staff were very attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Overall the food was slow but we got told that before we ordered so we didn’t mind the wait.Always have been my favourite place to eat and is an excellent British pub!

Arrived here with family after a walk in the area looking for some refreshment. Told as soon as we walked in that there was no room, even though the place was empty, due to bookings. Didn't matter to us as we had dog with us and wanted to sit outside anyway. Not much of a welcome from the staff.I was encouraged by the cask marquee plaque outside indicated real ale was available. On reaching the bar I could only see one hand pump. When I asked about the availability of real ale was told they had none. Not even offered a bottle alternative. Again the staff seemed really off and unfriendly.Ended up paying £16 for four soft drinks.Seems the Ram inn is only interested in fleecing people who want food.We won't be returning.

Very average but filling. Service a little slow.Asked for the unlimited extras when the food arrived but nearly finished my meal when the extras arrived. Menu promises lashings of gravy I asked for more because there wasn’t much on my plate. What arrived just covered one roast potato.Very dog friendly. Felt like I was at a dogs home.

The Manager was really kind and helpful to us sorting out all our orders and requests for our Festive Gathering..Thank you.Our recent visit was really pleasant too.

Just had Christmas dinner at The Ram. Truthfully, for the price I really can't fault it. My only gripe would be, I wasn't asked how I wanted my fillet cooking and as a result it was a tad too bloody for us. The staff were on it with service, no errors on waiting or getting the wrong things. A lovely lunch! Thank you. X

Friendly staff, decent food and absolutely lovely scenery on the doorstep.Bookings are very easy to do directly from their website.Great selection of beers, ales and gin. Most of all this is a DOG FRIENDLY 🐕 pub with an excellent service 👍Plenty room outside, dedicated parking space and gated outdoor area for the little ones 😀

We had a lovely lunch here today. Great service, really friendly staff, fantastic value and lovely views. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to others.

We went for a Saturday lunchtime meal. Really nice helpful staff. Quiet, outside seating, under a shelter which helped against the glaring sun. Food was tasty, good beer and unusual, but nice gin for drinks.
