I’m always disappointed visiting Towneley Garden Centre. Apart from a small area of bedding plants at the very front and at the rear, it’s actually quite difficult to find a decent range of that plants anyone would actually want to buy. You have to settle for what they happen to have in. Most of the premises is given over to a coffee shop and shelf after shelf of useless garden ‘tat’. I don’t find anything that could said to be value for money here and, as usual, I’m out of there pretty quickly and heading up the hill to the nearby Springwood Nurseries.

I was nicely surprised to find dogs were allowed in. Visited the café and had a nice coffee. Everyone was nice and friendly.

Great garden centre, shop and cafe! a massive selection of every type of bedding plants, perennials, shrubs trees or bush's. also garden furniture including garden accessories to mini pot garden red post box. they sell plant plugs but also potted plants that are more established. they are not bad in price as they have great discounted offers too.

This is a great little garden centre set in the grounds of Towneley Park. It has a good range of flowers, trees and shrubs on sale. There is a cafe and it is a nice place to grab a cup of tea or coffee. There is also a range of pots and ornaments available. There are also some nice thing for inside your house too. I would recommend a visit and encourage people to also look around the parks gardens and visit Townley hall too.

A great garden centre with an excellent selection of plants and garden furniture. I would say they could improve on disability access in some areas as I would love to bring my mum here however quite a few areas are not disabled friendly. We were served by a middle aged man at the till who could have been a little more friendlier and mindful with the items we purchased. There was soil all over the counter and he placed our items on the soil and when we told him to be careful he was not happy nor did we get a friendly response. Hence the 4 stars.Apart from the grumpy man who we will avoid next time. Its a great garden centre, one of my favourites. will be back soon.

First time visiting, we went for breakfast, the restaurant was very clean, nicely laid out, and spacious, the food was fantastic, and very friendly staff, would highly recommend, plus the added bonus of a very nice shop & garden centre to walk round whilst there

Always have an amazing time here. The food at the restaurant can be a bit hit and miss sometimes.... but the staff are amazing and friendly and helpful every time we've gone.Every plant we have ever bought has been healthy and lived. There are lovely gifts to buy too. Just a shame they removed the animated dinosaurs as the kids loved them!

Not being a fan of garden centres as I tend to find they have cunning ways of getting my wife to empty my wallet I did actually like this place. It's quite large, sells peat free compost and dog treats. They've a large selection of plants for indoors and outdoors from tiny plants to large shrubs
