Went for the 2ft long cod and was incredibly impresssed. The service was great too, great staff

Purchased Jacket Potatoes...tasted disgusting skin was hard and black lime they had been heated the day before very small in size and a megre amount of Cheese Filling...definitely not worth the money

Fish good, chips not bad, they better than other shop in that area. But have to wait longer if not white. Have them twice a year only. Waiting for the fish longer than usual, my jumbo fishes always be in the cabinet without taking them to wrap if I order it from the old lady. Sometimes half an hour in the cabinet. She served white first and ignored my Jumbos in the cabinet only walking passed until she satisfied then it was my turn. Shaw treated me better than Prestwick but I had to go to Prestwick because not very far from my house. Racist fish n chips shop.

Used to be absolutely brilliant with top notch staff and food. Food now a luck of the draw as to if you'll get a tasty batch or not. Staff rude, talking constantly about college, their days etc while putting food in trays so it takes twice as long. Ridiculous painted nails and fake eyelashes that are surely a health concern as it goes against the Gov Uk food safety policies.

Nice fresh fish. And it's massive! Even the small fish is big. Chips seemed like warm ups but it still tasted good. And it's open all day which is helpful.

Definitely the best RACIST chippy in Manchester I travel 12 miles to get our food and 12 miles back .BUT The past few times I've been served by this older RACIST lady and EVERY SINGLE time she has been so nasty and rude to me in a very obvious way , she looks disgusted by me and she is not shy to show it . Last night it was that obvious the staffs and customers were embarrassed about it . I understand if she hates other colours and if she is RACISTbut keep it to yourself your getting paid there .she is lucky I come from a culture that respects older people otherwise I wouldn't let it go . WARNING ⚠️ anyway ill give you a visit soon just for this reason your unlucky if you haven't seen this and your still the same RACIST DISGRACE! (you have it coming)

Actually sick the next day after having the cod. The batter wasn't even in any way crispy, cod was over cooked and the chips were cold. Awful awful food. Never eating here again and would strongly recommend to stay away.

Cold fish on two occasions reported to staff it was shrugged off. Will be watching for fresh food next time.ordered again to give them chance to correct things. I ordered again got the wrong order this time when I ordered what is going wrong withthis place. Standards slipping if you are happy with it OK but not when I am paying good money to have a meal then on two occasions cold third occasion wrong order.will try another place than k you for your service
