Food was great and the chips were 100 but cocktails weren’t too great, definitely had better elsewhere. Service was good to say how busy it was on a Friday eve.

Having literally just eaten here, the food was divine. But the wait not so great. We waited half a hour after our plates were taken for the sweet menu & coffee to be offered, then gave up. We did bring this up on paying the bill & the young lady said she had asked us on removing plates did we want anything else. But we both beg to differ, as neither one of us could recall that happening despite my asking my partner in front of her if he wanted a sweet. The food was fab, but for me personally a meal is not a meal without a liqueur coffee. So have left feeling a little bit cheated 🤔

Its 12:15 Sunday lunchtime when me and wife decided to have lunch at the Automatic!!Arrived at the door before another couple who were told they may have to wait for food and were seated. I noticed the cafe appeared about a third full with approx 16 customers (6 tables) so no problem. I asked politely for a table for 2 to be told sorry no tables.I have worked in hospitality all my life running many restaurants and I am amazed in these times when our businesses need to survive they dont want custom.I understand if they were short staffed but at least offer the customer a drink at the bar or something.

Visited on Christmas Eve and ate from the Festive Menu. All three courses were outstanding and amazing values for money, the staff were friendly and professional. Great atmosphere with lots of family groups

Lovely food & very friendly staff. My husband had steak & it was cooked beautifully. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the steak was served with skinny fries but that's just about personal preference.Would definitely recommend.

Automatic is immaculate, very well cleaned in-between customers. Maintenance of Covid cleaning evidenced throughout.Staff extremely helpful, polite and helpful (nothing is too much for them.) If you visit frequent enough they remember you by name.The menu is varied, something for everyone, elegantly served; price is value for money (and the servings are generous)... if you order the workers lunch, you will be served and in and out within the hour (which is great for not getting in trouble with your boss!)English breakfast served on Saturday 😋Highly recommend 👌
