Chilli Pepper in Bury

First time ordering from them, went with them because of their good reviews, we were so disappointed, I ordered a lamb dish that was definitely not lamb but beef, meat was tough, one member of my family ordered a chicken dish that was also tough, how can chicken be tough?, only if its been cooked or warmed up a number of times, the sauces with it was lovely, just a shame that the main ingredients, the meat were not, won't use again, oldest trick in the book to try and use beef instead of lamb, what a shame

Booked a table early this afternoon for 19:30. We arrived at 19:20 and was told that "someone has taken the table, by force" while laughing. He then just carried on what he was doing. Never witnessed anything like that from any resteraunt. So for anyone thinking of going, don't bother booking, just turn up and hope there is a table that someone else has reserved. Pathetic.

Top food great prices. Deliveries are a bit slow but you can collect in person off the friendly staff in 20 mins.

Been here a few times and tonight was dire. Forgot one of our sauces and still haven't turned up. Sauces are bland, just heat. Potatoes rock hard, onions like leather, chips hard as rock warm ups. Never going back after the disgusting meal tonight.

Brilliant food and take your own alcohol. Great food and fast becoming my favourite place. The food is freshly cooked so you can tailor it to your own taste. Portion size is excellent. Quality is super and the service is very personalised. Thoroughly recommend this place with its very great value for money. Also a brilliant take away and delivery service.

Just had the best curry Christmas meal from Chilli Pepper. Two veggie meals, with the saagwala rated the best my wife has tasted and a South Indian garlic chicken that I rate as the best I’ve tasted. A big thank you for a curry taste sensation 👍🏼😉

Delicious food generous portions, great service we recommend this restaurant

Been a couple of times for takeaway now. The food is OK but nothing to write home about. The onions in the pickle tray taste they they have been in the freezer for hours and the lamb is chewy. That apart the other dishes we have had have been fine but not excellent.

Really great food, lovely staff and good prices. I would definitely recommend. If you want to drink you should bring your own booze as they only serve soft drinks.
