The carvery was nice and exactly what you would expect though some of the vegetables were dreggs at the bottom of the serving dishes but the meat was good. So puddings??? The desserts are horrific in all ways. I ordered cheesecake. I did not see it when i ordered it and i say this because when it arrived i was shocked to see it was enormous, as tall as 1 tier of a wedding cake. And it was like whipped lard. Some flavouring, lots of sugar. What is the point of disgusting huge when delicious small is what one expects.

Waited 55 minutes for food that was stone cold and did not wanted to wait any longer for it to be warmed up. Stick to bar and carvery service only. Would been no stars but I had to use the loo.very disappointed. Staff was good just poor service.

Lovely service! Simon was really attentive and the hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream was divine and 1 portion served 3 of us. The play area was a welcoming surprise for my toddler! We will be back again soon

This evening with three others I attended this establishment. I have been on many previous occasions and have never been disappointed.Tonight I was and felt embarrassed as I had told them that it was good.It no longer is.It was short staffed. The tables need a good re furb.Although a area is set aside for families the rebwas screaming children and prams cluttering the place.A good front of house could have direct families to provided area.Food was not good.cauliflower was that uncooked it was crunchy.Roast potatoes were very dark.Parsnips were dark and burnt.Service was delayed because it took more than ten minutes to bring cooked beef from the kitchen.Overall the veg was warm not hotHot meals have a clue in the title. No front of house checking on service.Dirty used with uneaten food plates left on tables for well over half an hour. Not the staffs fault.Too busy to be properly attentive .If you are aware of these facts then the failings lie with you the management. We were going to visit Sycamore Farm but unless the standards are better then we will give it a miss.A apology and some form of restitution might help me and the three others feel more inclined to try there again.Covid has a lot to answer for but standards at the Farm Restaurants have fallen. Fallen a long way.You are the management please sort it.

All the staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. I had the carvery, which I have to say was great value. A choice of 3 meats, the largest selection of vegetables I have seen, a huge Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets and a selection of potatoes, all cooked perfectly. They also have an amazing selection of desserts the fresh cakes were massive! Unfortunately and sadly I didn’t have enough room to try one as the main meal was more than enough. I will be back to sample one of those beauties. Thank you for your hospitality well done one happy customer! 😁

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Fantastic staff. We had the carvery which was absolutely delicious. There was a choice of 3 different meats and a wide range of vegetables, all cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. We will be back soon.

Very clean someone is constantly wiping round when people leave one way in one way out. No booking through week weekend I think you do have to book. Recommend to anyone....
