I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I was here this evening for my 40th birthday meal. It was amazing, I have never had a meal in any restaurant as good as this was. The staff were all so helpful they could not do enough for my partner and myself. I will definitely return and have already recommended west ivy to family and friends. Thank you so much.

Food was tasty and well presented. Good size portions. Table was a little sticky, also one of the chairs had something incredibly sticky on which has proved tricky to remove from my jeans but otherwise a nice setting.

Been several times now food has always been good, and arrives quickly. The staff have always been bery friendly. Have been a couple of times with the dog, they have an outside eating area and so happy to let you eat outside with the dog (it does have heating for the UK climate) again staff brought water for the dog.All round a very good service.

Lovely Meal celebrating the start of the Festive Season. Lovely fun service from Katie. Was very busy and didn't get Our Liqueur Coffee's...

Tuesday 16th Nov 2021Visited *****WEST IVY***** in BURY, Lancashire. The staff on duty were Mac, David and Jack.If you have never been, you are missing out on GOOOOOD Food. Great Staff and really nice surroundings. MAC served us.Forget the main dishes people order the STARTERS.We ordered..."Halloumi Fries" - lovely chunky strips, with the sweet chilly dip." Lamb Kofta Lolly Pops" - not a lover of Lamb but OMB these were deliciously moist, perfectly spiced and bang on point cooked."Cheesy Garlic Bread" - I love cheese and this filled my cheese needs."Prawnstar Martini" - Delicious and so beautifully presented."Honey BBQ Bites" - Pieces of chicken in a honey BBQ coating. If you haven't been...GOIf you've been...Keep going. They deserve your patronage.

Unfortunately they didn't have any bao buns in stock which is usually served with the afternoon tea. Had mini burgers/sliders as an alternative which still tasted great. Prawn cocktail was delicious too as well as the desserts

Really cute place. Whole menu is hmc. We got the afternoon tea. unfortunately they didn’t have bao buns so we had normal buns.. but still it was nice. Katsu curry slider was delicious. Chips on the side were so tasty and stayed warm the whole way through! The prawn cocktail and avacado pot was super delicious and full of flavour with a little kick. Really surprised how nice it tasted. Lots of dessert which all tasted scrumptious. Overall a good experience.

We ate here a few months back and were left a little disappointed. We were quickly shown to our table but were then left waiting for 20 minutes before someone returned to take our order. When the food turned up, the starters were great. However, we found the mains to be bland. If we were to return again we would order something other than the hanging skewers.

Lovely ambient restaurant, reasonably priced. Service was smooth and efficient even on a busy night. Our server was pleasant and hospitable. I ordered the chicken and waffles as I thought I'd try something different from the norm, sadly I was disappointed, it just didn't work as a dish I felt. It needed another element on the plate to offset the dryness of the chicken and the overpowering sweetness of the waffles. Was a very weird combination experience, neither a savoury or a sweet. Luckily my fellow diners donated parts of their meal to me otherwise I would've been very hungry as u couldn't stomach more than a few mouthfuls of mine. All the other food was good quality. Overall I'd rate it slightly above OK, however I probably wouldn't rush to go back, I think this restaurant is saved by the atmosphere and style of venue rather than the food.

Up market, elegantly stylish and specious venue on several floors. The staff were efficient, friendly and sophisticated. Food was tasty and well presented. Definitely recommend this eatery for a very special occassion.
