Knowsley Pub in Bury

Bar person was very helpful but we ordered food x 4 1 mushroom pie mash and peas mash and peas were cold1 x steak and ale pie chips and peas chips were cold and no peas1 chicken curry rice both were cold 2 of the meals were sent back we were treated to 2deserts don't think I would go again

I met up with my grandaughter for tea and to meet her partner. I would not recomend it to anyone who wants to dine there. I asked for food we all picked and was told it was not on the menu, so tried something avery foody bar serves a burger sorry not on the menu so we gave up on the food.

Chose this pub for lunch as it was a green king ,but I was very disappointed. Me and my mum wanted a tea and coffee and the machine had broken ,and the barman said it was being fixed,so fair enough. I asked for a punk IPA they didn't have it,so I asked for a soft drink but not much choice as other green kings I've been in. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna,we waited over half an hour which was ok as we weren't in a rush,the pub wasn't busy,a handful of people in. When the potatoes arrived it wasn't well presented,there was a tiny bit of tuna on the potato and hardly any cheese I didn't see any butter it was very dry. So I thought when someone comes to ask how our meal is I will tell them . Noone came and asked. We went to the toilet before leaving,a coat hanger was on the floor in mine along with toilet paper. I looked at the other toilets they were dirty as were the sinks. I wouldn't go here again or recommend it. The barman was friendly but served a man before me and I was at the bar first ,I just let this go.

Service terrible. Could not read order properly. Ordered mash with meal and was brought chips. Will never go again. Toilets filthy and smelly.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, comfy seating ,clean and tidy, very nice cold lager and great prices

We was looking for pub to go and watch the boxing and food. This pub was great! Food was really good and atmosphere was too. Great for sports and staff were really friendly. Will definitely be going back

Great friendly pub. Was there for a presentation and the landlord and landlady couldn't do enough for us all fantastic atmosphere. Good food as well with plenty of choice for all taste buds. Well done to all the staff as no queue at the bar either.

Had the roast dinner for 2 on Sunday was amazing value for money couldn't finish it unfortunately went back this Sunday 27th Sept and it was awful what a difference a year makes

Excellent service, from the moment you get into place you feel welcomed, my food was late only few minutes but Garreth went extra mile and offer me a complementary drink( I didn't expected that as I'm used to Bristol not so fast service;p ) food was really tasty! Spot on Knowsley!
