The owners and the staff are lovely. Very attentive! My husband has disabilities and they accommodate us and my husband’s assistance dog very well. Also they have an accessible downstairs toilet. We feel not just welcomed, we feel special. The food is gorgeous and my husband said the “Bloody Mary” was very well prepared!

Consistent is a word that always comes to mind with Owens. They set the bar high and maintain a quality & standard of service that is hard to better anywhere. Ok, the menu it could be argued is a little limited, but I feel sufficient for most. What they offer is quality at a reasonable price. They also have a great bar and always have a couple of local cask ales on tap. If you want great service & good food without taking out a second mortgage give it a try, I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

Not a big menu but some great choices. I had a very tasty burger and perfect chips followed by lovely lemon posset. There were a few of us including some vegans and we were all very happy. Definitely go again even with the kids who don't do adventurous cuisine.Staff were very happy and accomodating and venue was modern and smart.UPDATE; Had breakfast there early Jan 2022 which was fine except my wife could taste garlic on the bread and didn't eat hers. We got an apology from the waitress and nothing else, no money off, no apology from the manager on the floor, very disappointing.

Absolutely awful. Went for my 30th and waiting a while for them to even ask for our drinks waited half an hour when it was dead. Their was seven of us and out of that one was happy. Snotty egg, tasteless curry and pie, salty chicken and over priced. Not to mention getting the order wrong not writing it down. Will definitely not be returning. Ruined the night, we all left food and the staff didn't even take notice. shocking place such a shame

Popped in here Sunday morning and glad I did. Had a full English and couldn't fault it. I did question the hash brown being there - but more than satisfied when I tried it and it had Lancashire cheese through it!Lovely decor and very friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be back for lunch or dinner sometime.
