Came in for lunch, food is top quality and very cheep especially with their daily deals. All of the staff are very friendly and do anything to ensure your visit is enjoyable. Especially Candice who personally came over to check everything was ok and had a chat with us even tho it was busy. Thank you Candice we will definitely be retiring soon.

Very happy with my visit. The food was really nice and so was the beer ;) I was very happy with the service, especially by Fern on the bar. Will be back soon thank u.

We have been going here for Christmas Dinner the last two years(missed one year due to covid). Both times were brilliant. Polite staff and fantastic food.

3* is for the food.Food is always to standard and very tastey, never had to wait long for the food to arrive.Service on this occasion was appalling, rude unbothered staff talking loud and inappropriately across the bar, manager slightly rude and unprofessional.I did come a couple weeks ago so I know the service can be better that’s why I didn’t go any lower on my rating.

Visited for the first time in years....Food was tasty, well presented and hot. A little too long waiting, 32 minutes, and not at all busy...but in no rush so wasn't too big of an issue but certainly an area in need of attention

We'd go again, it wasn't bad. I remember hungry horse pubs being ridiculously good value, with eating competition sized portions for the same price as everywhere else. The food wasn't bad, everyone enjoyed it. My only bug bear really was the chips, surely the easiest and cheapest thing on any pub menu. With the "big plate special" ; 3 X 5ox gammon steaks which were more salty than tasty, but brexit, only one egg and a couple of onion rings along with a spoonful of peas and I'm not kidding, ten chips. Ten, I counted. I was going to pinch some of the kids french fries that came with their burgers as they didn't seem to be eating them. I soon found out why. They were pale, cold and difficult even for me to chew, not overcooked, burnt and hard, just chewy in s way you don't expect potato to be. Chips are not difficult to get right and they're really not difficult to pile onto the plate to make it look like you're getting more for your money. Especially as the burgers and chicken and stuff the rest of the gang had were really good. Also, the wacky warehouse was a fiver a kid for the last half hour

Great service and really nice breakfast. Had breakfast here with my wife and two young children. We weren’t expecting to be in the area so hadn’t planned anywhere to eat which we usually do as the children have food allergies. We came here for breakfast as we were staying in the Travelodge next door. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful regarding the allergies, especially Fern. The breakfast was fantastic and no problems . Will come back here if in the area again.

A fair meal for a fair price. Great offers every night of the week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was really quiet which did surprise me as it use to be a popular eating place. Though must admit didn't know it had changed to a Hungry Horse until recently and we have eaten at many Hungry Horses so will be returning very soon.

For a chain pub, the food is always served hot and is more than substantial at a very reasonable price. We take the kids here and for a large group of us it's never more than about 80pounds with kids meals, desserts and at least 2 drinks. The staff are polite and accommodating, and even if it is sometimes a bit slow to serve I have never had a bad meal here.
