Visited Porada Sunday afternoon having not been there for about four years and had booked a table for 3pm for three of us.On our arrival at the Reception area I would say the greeting wasn't the warmest welcome I have ever received, even so the guy on reception got some menus and asked we wait a moment. He then took us to a table upstairs where we ordered and had some lovely food.We were served by two young ladies who had no conversation other than taking our orders and another waiter 'Spanish George' who was very warm and friendly and went out of his way to please and who more than made up for the lack of 'warmth' from the other waiters.A smile and some manners cost nothing to customers !

Where do we start. Booked for 3 Adults on Christmas Day for treat no cooking £200 willing to pay What a big mistake! Upon arrival greeted with a waiter in a frenzy talking quite rude to say he’d been trying to call us to get our order we weren’t told this upon booking! Set menu so not lots of choice you’d have thought their was twenty or so of us the way he was stressing Basil Fawlty really does exist! After him takin our order off the 3 of us which was very straight forward for him all had same starter , Turkey Dinner and desert. Our table was tor 3 pm we arrived at 2-30 to get a drink which we had to ask get the attention of some one to serve us. It was like a Cresh lots of kids crying screaming shouting with load iPad games! No atmosphere no music in background could be heard. Decorations consisted od A light up Reindeer and Christmas Tree! We got shown our table no sooner had we ordered a bottle of fizz our starters we plonked in front of us. We had Garlic Mushrooms in a very watery sauce with slices of a garlic in You had to use a spoon to eat it Not a slice of bread or anything no! Then the Turkey. Two slices ok but very thick, Two tiny roast potatoes a smaller than a golf ball size stuffing four carrots three sprouts that were like bullies Brocoli rock hard you struggled to cut cranberry sauce smothered all over it(should have been in separate pot. No sooner put knife fork down the desert appeared very poor portion also we had to flag down waitress for cutlerery one measly Christmas cracker on table no after dinner mint or drink on house. We were rushed not asked if we were ready for our next course. We decided to leave and not buy anymore drinks as we will not go near this place again

Have visited Porada since it first opened Recently went for lunch with a friend. Great food as always but rude waiter, basically kicking everybody out at 2pm. No offer of dessert or coffee, no 'sorry but we're closing now' Just the bill slapped on the table and ushered out while he's there waiting for you to leave with his coat on!

I am still waiting for call back from Sunday from the terrible service I received on Sunday afternoon ( it’s was not busy ) so they can’t blame it on that !! The food what is mediocre just OK but not the best , starters missing ( due to fact the waiter not listening mistaking order down at very beginning ) rude , arrogant waiter tired to argue with me ! Starters came a few of my party had king prawns is ok part from the poo line not been removed . Missing garlic bread , ( at this point waiter tried to argue with me then had go at the other young waiter blaming it on him ) there was no effort in trying to sorted out the garlic bread just didn’t get it ! bread mushrooms was plain no taste. Not the correct cutlery on the table when having mains had to ask a few times for correct cutlery (steak knifes) Fillet Steaks was plain no taste to them wasn’t blown away like last time I been there . Only few weeks away !Finally I got the bill going through it there been extra items put on there that we not drank or eaten !Top it of the service charged us don’t get me wrong I will give tip but after the s**t show I received I wasn’t happy . I am still waiting on the owner to phone back but I very much that will happen . I will not be coming back here

Mixed feelings about this place, been 3 times, first time food was lovely, second time, the waiter was quite rude and came across like he was getting annoyed for no reason at all, language Barrier maybe? Anyway, once again food was good, then visited a 3rd time couple of weeks ago, place was clean, had bruschetta for stater which was such a small portion for the price literally finished it within a minute. The veg and potatoes i ordered with my steak were very hard & chips greasy undercooked… And once again ( different Waiter ) an older Italian man again, quite snappy and rude, even my 12 year old son noticed it, he said mum he seems like he’s getting annoyed…. For absolutely nothing, all I was doing was ordering some simple food, seems their heads fall off if you ask for something a bit different… I wont be rushing back which is a shame as I planned to visit with my brother and sister in law as I have been telling them how nice the place is.

We've been twice now and each time the service has been excellent. The food and drinks have been faultless and generous. A beautiful place, too.

Lovely place, really nice inside. Staff were lovely. Good choice of cocktail menu. A little bit cold inside but can't blame the restaurant too much, they had a lot of heaters set up. Would be nice to return in the summer. Didn't rate the Foccacia starter very much but everything else as expected. Large portion sizes. Very pleasant evening.
