Roma Cafe in Bury

Picked up everything I needed for an Italian dinner party, great results! It was busy but the staff had plenty of time to help and took a real interest. I got frozen meatballs, sauce, pasta, mozzarella, wine, olives and a selection of cakes - all were amazing!! So much easier than cooking from scratch but tasted fresh and home made (but nicer ;) ). It was all so delicious. Great value too.

This is a lovely family business. They are all happy and hard working its a beautiful and clean cafe with excellent food.I went for 2 takeaway vegan pasta dishes and asked if I could have it extra spicy it was no trouble at all. My son loves it .its a busy welcoming cafe with also excellent coffee

Great Xmas Eve Italian meal. This place has a real great vibe and the food is brilliant! Staff are lovely and friendly. We were visiting family in the area after travelling up from Croydon. Found Roma online and paid a visit. Absolutely brilliant and great value! Thanks we’ll be back next time!Love Chris & the family.

Potential to be a nice place, its a Deli with Greasy-spoon clientèle. The staff deserve better customers.Lavazza crema aroma coffee would be better than the bitter over roast coffee that would require sugar.Lovely staff, lovely environment but I chose to take away rather than sit amongst the oddball customers. 🤪

Very poor food, the bread was not fresh tasting, the pre made Napoli pizza base was thick and not even warmed through and the Salami was just warmed not cooked, not good at all. I was expecting near restaurant standard but it wasn't quality or value at £7. Its a corner cafe. I guess everyones doing their best but it could offer so much more if the management and owners took a reality check on the quality and menu.

Went in 'on spec', just for a drink. Accommodated & Served immediately. Cappuccino piping hot & tasty. Lovely Deli; warm & clean too (a cold day). Thank you. Maria Tiani.

Lovely food and really friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. Food is homemade and the staff are very knowledgeable. Their lasagne is the best I have tasted outside of Italy.

Sat out in the sun last Saturday with a lovely coffee, then bought good cakes to take home. The Roma has been a Whitefield staple since the 80s , great place, decent food & products.

Had a take away sandwich. Always happy to chat though on this occasion they nearly gave me someone's elses order! Emphasize only as they realised their mistake before I left.Despite this, happy to go back as they do the best flat white around and the sandwich as usual was tasty and very morish.They do great cakes as well, the apple and sultana lattice my favourite.

Great place to eat, at exceptionally reasonable prices. As it was just a quick lunch with a friend. I had minestrone soup my friend had chicken soup. Wow it was a meal in a bowl full of flavour and came with thick freshly sliced bread and butter. If you needed any extra bread just ask. Very impressed and had a great cup of coffee to finish. The staff were all very friendly and the service was good.We did buy cakes and bread from the shop to take home.Fantastic cakes! Would definitely recommend Roma in Whitefield
