Stables Country Club in Bury

Absolutely love this place. Extremely stunning and very fair prices. Me and my partner are due to get married here and the process has been so smooth. Nothing is too much trouble and if you ask for something they can’t do themselves, they try to make it happen for you to the best of their ability. Highly recommend.

It was my first time here today. I have visited a few local gyms to see which would better suit me as i am disabled. The front of house staff where wonderful, took me on a full tour, answered every question and even printed me out a timetable. Looking forward to my first try here.

We went to a christening at this venue the room was lovely and the staff were very friendly

Had a wedding reception there, accommodation basic but clean, problems with fighting about 2am and arguing outside whilst waiting for taxis.

We went to the Christmas lunch yesterday and I don’t normally write bad debit it this was really poor and they need to know it’s not good enough. The staff were polite and friendly, I didn’t have any issues with them at all, and the food was not very great(potatoes were for the bin), but the big issue was the Father Christmas which was the big let down, and this was supposed to be the highlight and the whole reason we had done it. He was a skinny lad of about 20yr old, in the cheapest of Santa outfits, wearing the top backwards, with what looked like a shoe box under the top for his belly which looked ridiculous. He was wearing white trainers with pieces of black pvc tied around his ankles. As soon as our kids saw him they all started asking what was wrong with Santa? Leading to awkward answers and more questions about him. He also had no ‘Father Christmas’ charisma, instead just asking the child’s name before handing them a present and moving on. We’ve been to plenty of other Santa breakfasts/dinners and this was the worst by miles, taking all the Christmas wonder away by being cheap and lazy about it. I know covid is about but that doesn’t excuse it when they are cashing in on Christmas but not bothered about what it means to children.

Had a lovely time celebrating friends wedding. Plenty of parking available. Bars expensive but that's to be expected. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained establishment

Outstanding in every way I can think to judge such a venue. The staff, facilities, grounds, views, food and drink, cleanliness, decor and management were all exceptional at the wedding I attended here.

I've been a member for a couple of years now and have always enjoyed my visits. There are 2 lovely swimming pools, one for lane swimming the other more casual neither of which are ever crowded. Showers and changing rooms are always clean. - even before the current restrictions.
