Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. As a coeliac (18 years diagnosed) I felt like I’d gone back in time a decade in terms of availability of gluten free meals. Instead of having a simple symbol on the menu instead “the chef comes out and talks to you” delaying everyone’s food while he runs you through the menu meal by meal on what he can and can’t make you, then says “why didn’t you ring ahead we could’ve done this or that” as if it’s my fault for not informing a restaurant that I’m going to eat there ahead of time. All I wanted was steak and chips and I couldn’t have the chips because they’re fried in the same oil as fish etc, but then was told by the chef he could warm up the second fryer but that would add 15 minutes onto our meals? So if there’s an extra fryer why not have it on already? Especially on a Sunday evening, which is surely one of the busiest nights of the week? Then the whole experience took a turn for the utterly bizarre when someone (assuming the owner) wandered in with his dog?!?! This dog then wandered round the tables for 45 minutes while the owner interrupted everyone to apologise for his dog (but apparently putting it on a lead or even leaving the dog elsewhere would be too much trouble). On top of all this the service was slow, and the food was average at best and undercooked. Avoid.

Nice meal. Could have heated plates up. Also a meat knife would have been better. Staff nice.

Wonderful food, top class. Good service too on a busy Sunday. I would always book as it looks a very popular destination.

We had a really good meal. I had the cheese and onion pie. My friend had the fish and chips. We both then had Apple pie and custard. The best I've had for a long time. Then we found out that one main cause was free. Even better 😊

Stood outside the restaurant at 7:30pm, was just walking by and fancied the food so I called and asked when they finish serving.. They said 20:45pm so I went home to order a pick up which they said would be fine. Literally called them 15minutes ago to order collection to be told they shut the kitchen at 19:45pm. So I could of ordered when I originally spoken to them. I Had a £70 order lmao

Curry night. Curry, rice, chips and two small nan breads with a small glass of house wine (really quite nice) - good value. Clean and comfy with friendly staff. Dx

Fantastic takeaway roast lamb dinner . Lovely tender lamb, beautifully cooked veg and tasty gravy 😋 Definitely will be back ,thanks to all the kitchen staff .

Just been for a meal with 6 friends and all were very impressed. Food really good, Christmas decorations lovely and the staff were all very efficient and friendly. Will definitely come again.

Usually very good, have been many times, however the last time we went the pastry on the pie wasn't cooked. Mentioned it to the lad that came to take the plates away and he never said a word!!! No good customer service.
