Great local pub, decent sized outside area, covered smoking area, conservatory, good food, good beer, pool table, plenty of seating, pub quiz and dj/music in evening. Plenty of parking, topped with decent, easy to get on with staff.

Edited November 2021 - new menu/new owners.Very friendly and loads of space - you can always have a choice of seat. Locals and visitors in equal measure during the day. Food is really well done, well cooked, and massive menu choice for vegetarians and vegans! You are truly spoilt. Excellent garden with benches and play equipment, children's pop very reasonably priced. Huge car park. Good price on beer.

Took my elderly relative today for lunch. We were looked after so well and the food was amazing ! And such good prices too. Nice pub to relax and catch up. Will definitely call in again soon. Thanks for a nice afternoon.

Family friendly beer garden, clean, plenty of seating inside and outside. Good beer. Attentive and helpful hosts and staff. Menu is wide ranging and has something for everyone.

Great place to go, although we are only allowed in the garden, the land + land lady are very welcoming, gazebos are in use for not pleasant days. The staff are great bunch, very attentive, basic menus in use at present but the food is fantastic cooked by a great chef. Differently worth a look.

It was refreshing to see that the Pub and Restaurant side of the Swan was very compliant with COVID-19 restrictions. Social distancing was observed and people were challenged when they didn't have a mask. The food was excellent and as it was 'Wacky Wednesday' we had 4 meals for £20. The service was speedy and friendly. It was a shame the restaurant side was so quiet. We have booked in for next week, but this depends on whether pubs and restaurants will be able to open, which will be a damn shame as the Swan has made a real effort.

I used to visit this pub quite often as very a number of years as it had regular events on especially in the summer which involved kids l too. It has recently changed owners and haven't ventured here as much not seen much enticing advertising on the pub now. Saying that I visited a couple of weeks ago at lunch time and was nice to see the same chef there food nice but the pub itself was quiet but that could of been too Do with the time of day, yet to visit in the evening.

When we went on the Saturday after we had been for a meal next door at the Indian they had a bloody good singer on, he sang ,northern soul, disco and he did a fantastic impersonation of Neil Diamond. He was that good I actually danced, I danced like a madman affected by voodoo!!! Obviously we'll be going again. 🍺🍺🍺

Homely pub with great menu inc. veggie options. Large garden with kids play area. Thwaite's ales; can't go wrong with their bitter! Plenty of variety behind the bar. Staff, friendly and helpful; not forgetting to mention 'George' - he's a right character!
