We took a friend to lunch here, a bit of a drive for us but she lives not too far away. It was worth the trip - both the food and the beer were excellent. It's worth going as a group as the menu has small dishes so with a group you can select many more to share among you.Nice ambience - and long after we had finished eating and drinking we stayed on to chat as they cleaned up for the evening - and it was nice that they did not mind and made no attempt to throw us out which was really nice of them.Certainly worth a visit.

Got told about this place by a friend and thought it sounded good so we booked for the other Sunday and my wife and I went over and it was fantastic, great place, a proper hidden gem, live music ( and she was brilliant sorry don’t know who she was ) food amazing and staff absolutely fantastic. We had a few dishes from Ribs, Wings, Duck, Garlic Prawns, Spring Rolls and they were all cooked to perfection, places like this are hard to find outside of big cities like Manchester but whomever has bought this place and made it into this great eatery needs a pat on the back.I’m a big believer in a good place to eat needs to be visited again to make sure that we didn’t just get a lucky meal so we have just returned for an early tea and again the food was outstanding, the waitress was really nice, very chatty and very efficient In taking order and getting drinks but also looked after us all meal, the food was even BETTER than the first time we went so I can only say if you get chance then go, we have told loads of people about this place and cannot wait to return with friends, we’ll done Holcombe Tap and the staff you have a brilliant place to come and enjoy great food.

Honestly this place was unreal. The best mushy peas I've ever had and the food, service and overall value for money were second to none. I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I've had this year.

This is the third time we have been, there is nothing to fault whatsoever. In fact quite to the contrary. Excellent service, fantastic food, great atmosphere, the whole package. Young staff who are attentive, pleasant and professional, as opposed to the false 'Hi Guys' you get from some places. I cannot praise the whole experience enough and happy to give a well deserved glowing review.

Quite nice but small and a weird mix of restaurant and pub. I've eaten here and it was nice but just going for a drink felt a bit weird, like I was in the wrong place. Maybe just me. Staff were lovely and friendly, good atmosphere, nice decor.

A really impressive tapas selection which changes with the seasons. Great service from friendly and helpful staff. Drink selection is varied & high quality. Atmosphere is relaxed but still suitable for an 'occasion' meal. Great addition to the Rammy/Holcombe food scene.
