My son Alex loves the burgers from TGIs and we went to try and cheer him up a bit. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals but both Alex and Jamie did not eat their fries because there was too much salt on them. We should have complained. I always have the sweet potato fries and they are always delicious.

Possibly the worst food I've ever had. Tiny portions of over priced rubbish barely fit for human consumption. Whilst the sesame chicken starter is always good, I had what equated to four chicken nuggets for £7+... an absolute joke.. The child's garlic bread was smothered in parsley and looked like the hulk had wiped his backside on it. The main courses turned up separately and was cold by the time the last one arrived. My burger was inedible and overcooked to the point that it was like shoe leather. They put a tomato on the burger that wasn't listed anywhere on the menu for some bizarre reason and when they brought it back on a different bun the sweet potato Fries were cold, soggy and greasy. The manager (a young French /Belgian lad) to give him his dues arranged a replacement and discounted the food we had issues with, but by this time everyone else in the party was practically finished and their food was equally inedible, it seems they were just too polite to mention it at the time. I get that it's Saturday night and I get that they were understaffed and also that the staff they had were new, however if this is the situation they should limit the amount of bookings they are taking so they can adequately service the customers. The manager tried his best to right the issues and if it wasn't for his actions this review would have been a helluva lot more scathing, but if I'm going to be paying in excess of £75 for what basically amounts to burgers and chips X3 I expect a huge difference in portion size, service and food quality. Its only got one star because it wont let me score lower. I'd have rather eaten a microwave rustlers burger and saved myself a load of cash. Avoid. Edited in response to the owners comment below, I have already filled the survey in when prompted to by email as a follow up from my online booking the next day. You should already have the details. If you wish to contact me directly my details will be on the booking from 5pm from Saturday 19th February.

Booked a table for 6 had to wait 15 mins for the table. Burger had a soggy bun and was just about warm chips were great. Didn’t get any cutlery, asked for some still never got any. Good job I had burger and chips had to just eat with my hands and the drink came towards the end of the meal. Other TGIs definitely do it better.

2 is probably being generous. Staff we're all over the place rushing around, as a result the food was cold..... all 9 meals. A lot of tables sat with no food. A lot of complaints. Possibly the last time I'll dine at a TGIs. At a time where restaurants should be jumping through hoops to have people through the doors, they really weren't.

Booked a table for my family tonight to have a celebratory meal and was very disappointed. I booked online and ticked the option for a birthday treat. No one even mentioned it. We had our starter with no cutlery and was half way through our mains before we even got cutlery and I had to ask for this. We ordered steak, £22 for a piece of steak, chips. No salad, nothing. We didn't even get the sauces/toppings that was to come with the steak. 1st time visiting TGI'S and Probably the last.Very disappointing.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food was great as always and promptly served. Chloe was absolutely awesome especially with the kids who asked if they could leave her a review. 10/10 from us

Had a family meal here today. Disappointed as poor service from the staff. We were served by 4 or 5 different serving staff so our orders got mixed up from miscommunication. We were in there for 2 hours 30 mins + because our food was very slow coming out. Some staff came across rude and short when asked questions regarding menu- although a few staff members were helpful. Just appeared very poorly organised and became frustrating. Also seating was poor; our table was tucked in a corner making it hard to get our plates onto the table, and under a cold air vent. Overall, food and cocktails were good- but very unhappy with our experience with the service staff.

Amazing experience, Arturk is such a sweet person his smile is contagious!!! His service is beyond excellent. We enjoyed every second the whole staff is amazing, the food was extraordinary and massive portions, every portion can make two people full, if you love sharing food, this place is definitely for you.

From sitting down to getting 1st drinks took 45 minutes. 6-7 wrong items brought to table throughout course of the evening for a party of six. Food mediocre to poor when considering the price. Free deserts for a couple of the party due to wait times was a nice gesture, but not enough to justify a repeat visit. Would not recommend, a smaller / independent venue will be a much better choice.
