Called here for lunch as part of our train journey. I can highly recommend the Lasagne, definitely homemade and yummy. Hubby had the Sirloin Steak, it tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended

One certain member of staff is sadly disgraceful towards her customers and makes me and many other feel judged and uncomfortable for just simply ordering a drink. Her attitude quite frankly stinks it always has and seems to never change. She is actually known for being the “rude/nasty” worker in the railway, it’s a shame she lives just above the pub. 😞 however it’s always a great atmosphere when whom isn’t there also the other members of staff are lovely, very good alcohol choices!Kind regards

Lovely place!Visited with family and had a pleasant experience (09/01). The young waitress seemed busy but had no issues with our food or the service.Well done to her and the young boy on shift. Will be visiting again!

The team / managers need to sort themselves out.I appreciate I came on a bank holiday but you should staff accordingly. The bar staff member told me people hadn’t showed up for their shift. So at that point sort your team out, clearly somethings going wrong. It’s a busy pub in a touristy area, it’s not a shock that it’s going to be busy. The atmosphere was lovely, but the staffing issue just makes the experience bad.Telling people it’s going to be a half hour wait on food but then waiting an hour. Your service times must be terrible. Also we had a pizza! A pizza! Took an hour and was raw. Also the young lad who was working on the 27th deserved a raise. He was so screwed over. Whoever the woman was (I assume the manager) wearing sliders and cycling shorts to work. I found that inappropriate.

What a fantastic evening we had in here, we went for the Christmas menu, well all I can say is we wouldn’t have got better service if we had gone to a 5 star restaurant. Vicky who looked after us was brilliant so attentive and quick. And for the price 3 courses for £15.99 The food was lovely and lots of it and then to top it off we were given a piece of cake with candles on for my hubbys birthday. I would recommend anyone to go and we will certainly be back. Thank you

Yeah great friendly staff and people in the area. We popped in for a quick drink on way home from a event. We will be back at some stage 😊

This pub has the menu and feel of a chain pub, but the young man on duty today went above and beyond the call of duty to arrange a ‘cake’ with a candle for my daughter’s toys ‘birthday’Bravo that Man!

A beautiful, traditional Pub located in the market town of Ramsbottom just a few miles from Bury. The Railway has a warm atmosphere and you feel at home straight away.Great beer and a nice place to meet up with friends. They serve food so you can have a nice meal. Great Pub to visit if your in town..
