The Trackside Bar, situated on Platform 2, Bury Bolton Street Station. Renovated, freshened up, new & improved. As if things couldn't get any better. Fantastic selection of Cask & Keg Ales, Ciders, Perries, Stouts & of course Pub Grub. Stunning setting on the old platform of the East Lancashire Railway. A bar, and so much more! Nostalgia, history, events and also quite simply, a meeting place for friends! CAMRA pub of the year 2022.

Had a couple of drinks before we were going to dine on the steam train, nice atmosphere, lovely lady approached asked us if we were dining on the train and gave us lots of information, and better still she waved all the customers off on their journey. The dining experience was brilliant lovely and lovely staff everything A1, so nice to be served by really pleasant staff, 3rd time we have done this, took our friends with us this time and will be definitively doing it againA big well done to all

Great location on Bury Bolton Street station. Excellent selection of hand pull beers and ciders. Food is good too and reasonably priced. All with steam and diesel trains passing by.

Been meaning to come to this place for ages and finally managed it just before they closed for a refurb! Was half expecting there not to be many beers on due to them closing, but none of it! Lots of beers on and another one added as soon as one ran out! I will definitely be returning and hopefully will be a regular visitor.

Great nostalgic steam railway with the added plus of lots of real beers. Update following refurb. Beer prices have rocketed, must be to pay for the modern look 😲

I have been here several times over the years and it has always had a great selection of real ale. I have also been on the steam trains for a great day out. Plenty of seating inside and out. Well worth the visit.Had a good pint of Crag from the Fell brewery. My mate had Goddards from the Isle of White. A really unusual one to find.

A wonderful bar to visit especially if a loco is in Steam. Beer quality and selection always excellent. Also a facinating town centre. Hopefully a few photographs say more about the bar & town centre.

·

Nice bar next to East Lans steam railway. Fantastic choice of beers and real ciders. Friendly service

·

A real ale bar with seating inside or outside on a platform at Bury's East Lancs Railway. There is always a magnificent choice of beers and ciders, the seating is comfortable and decor is railway orientated but there is also a great use of pump clips in the ceiling space highlighting the vast number of beers served to date. What's not to like, steam buffs or beer buffs, or anyone who just wants a nice pint in a friendly atmosphere will be glad they came.

Really great bar, especially if you like trains! Good environment and an excellent selection of beers and ciders. Staff very friendly too.
