Quality of food was OK but no recognised vegetarian option. The only option they gave was to for me to pick a meal and they would take the meat out and slap in some paneer! Place looks a little tired and in need of some tlc.

5/5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟Every time I try I different Indian in Carlisle I always go back to the Viceroy because it's the best in town. Each curry Is unique and never simmilar to others. Used about 20+ times easily.They don't get it right 100% of the time but no where does. 1 curry I had was a bit watery, they changed it straight away. Customer service is as good as it gets.

We had a lovely New Year Eve set meal. The food was tasty, plenty of it and the staff worked extremely hard. Will definitely come back.

Passing through Carlisle, we went to the Viceroy based on Google ratings, however we were both extremely disappointed. The mixed grill was poor with most of the meat dry and not cooked fresh, and my wife's curry was not great. Very average meal.

Was in the area for a birthday holiday and popped here for the birthday meal. Couldn't fault it. We had the Mango Chicken with Coconut rice and the Hot Naga Chicken with Keema rice and a Pashwari Naan. Food was so full of flavour and the perfect balance of spices. Hands down one of the best Indians we've had. Staff were so lovely and nice, nice little treat at the end of meal too as they knew we had a birthday! Would highly recommend!.

Wow what a find.... You must try this place. Easily the best curry I've had in the north by far. I ask for things to be tailored ie.. a Chilli and Keema naan, Egg & Pea Rice and a extra hot Jalfrezi. All of it they done and it was spot on. The staff are really friendly and the decor is fresh and modern. Was on my way to Scotland and popped in because of the reviews and will definitely be visiting again next time I pass through Carlisle 👌🏻
