Asda Cafe in Carlisle

It's fine for shopping. Just wish parking spaces were bigger. Parked miles away from entrance with nothing around me yet when I returned some idiot had still managed to open their door onto my car denting it....😕Makes for an expensive visit.

Great range of products but massive store and not really on a comfortable human scale.

I went to ASDA this time, though usually I prefer Morrisons. To my surprise a bird had somehow gotten into the store and was causing a commotion. Some of the staff were trying to guide it toward the exit and some customers had also joined in. It became a bit of a game and with perciverence and a little luck we actually managed to steer the bird back outside. Everyone began clapping and it was such a great moment though during event I must have dropped my shopping list so I didn't actually end up buying anything.

Asda Pharmacy CARLISLE This is the second time I've been served by a rude , load member of staff who offers no privacy. She shout's across to you from her computer screen ask you personal details with in ear shot of other customers in the queue. I'm changing my collection pharmacy .

Love to shop in asda it has every thing we need and good supplies for our pets lots of space to move around in very friendly

Good for cheap fuel next to the M6 if passing, but the cafe is unreliable, had no eggs for the brunch on first visit. The next time I waited for service only to discover later an obscure note saying it was closed. Lights all on and it appeared stocked. SAVE ELECTRICITY ASDA! TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. Great waste of time waiting, then went to pay for a meal deal and a prepaid coffee cup at the self service only told to buy the cup at the busy customer services. Scanned the meal deal and left. Had coffee at an M6 Costa in the end. Visit finished off by being trapped, by the break less fence in the picture, trying to get to my car. Climbed over, luckily no full coffee cupSome days you just can't win, but beat the odds by eating elsewhere.

On line delivery , we’ll time slots . Asda charge for a time slot , that means taking money off me . And then sends a text saying Sorry the drivers running late .Well , will I be refunded for paying for my time slot .No . Well that’s not value for money is it . So Asda please get intouch with me .

Arrived for a click and collect order using the automatic kiosk. Waited over 10 mins no one arrived. Went to customer service desk a call was put out still no one arrived. after waiting 15 mins a security guard asked if someone had come and as I replied no. He went to get someone . absolutely unacceptable service. 20+ minutes wait. Security guard was extremely helpful.though

Member of staff on the food counter at Cafe was brilliant friendly polite engaging, the tables were clean etc that's where the good endsHowever the lady from out the back that said "put it on a smaller plate to seem more" and classed that as a portion not so nice the rice was water logged yet dried out and bland. And the 3 pieces of chicken were edible and the sauce tastes as it should . The cup of coffee had no taste at all. Didn't want to complain as not wanting to confront someone about it especially as the person on the counter was so polite and friendly. And didn't deserve to have to deal with the issues.

Nice shop with friendly staff. Petrol station was closed unfortunately; however it is normally a good place to stop for petrol if on a long journey as its a good price. Big store with plenty of choice.
