Carlisle Express in Carlisle

I (being an Indian) was looking for authentic Indian food and I found Carlisle express which proved to be the authentic Indian taste for my order of Chana masala. If you are in the area and looking for the really Indian taste , I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just ordered a lovely meal from here. Very taste and reasonably priced. Now lying on the sofa with a full tummy.. 😋

Curry was pretty good but really salty, the chips were so salty they were basically inedible, same for the chicken tikka starters. The mono were awesome though.Won't order again, just far too much salt in everything.

Cracking food 👌 😋 👍Always get the set meal for 10.95 ,which is exceptional value for money .It's enough food for 2 people to share .Don't think anywhere in the town ,beats them on price .Love the balti and bombay potatoes.

Carlisle Express is wonderful, we always love it but felt it was most important to share this love tonight.I cant imagine the complaints the poor receptionist is gaining at the moment due to orders taking a while as its New Years Eve, after how much she thanked us tonight for being polite when we called.The service here is always amazing, the food we adore and always come back to. We ordered early tonight as we knew the takeaways would be busy ... it's new Years Eve after all! But we always know our food is going to be top quality.If any staff end up reading, we hope any complaints you receive, you dont take to heart. The food and service is always brilliant! Thank you!

We had the week day meal deal for two, unlike many other takeaways that give you the left overs on a meal deal just to fill you up this place provided an excellent meal deal. Piping hot, delicious and more than you could eat. We will definitely return again and highly recommend.

Very poor food quality. The curry was not fresh and it tasted as it was spoiled, also the peppers from the wrap. The scampi were not actual scampi but a mixed paste. Also a lot of hair on the package and in the food. Very disappointed, 1st and last time when we order from them.

I have ordered large donner kebab. It was bad. Smell of kebab was horrible. It smell like it was kept in the pot with dead rat. It was first and the last time i have ordered from Carlisle Express. Avoid this place by all means . It is very very poor place to eat no matter how hungry you are. Please Go somewhere else.

Fabulous curries. Great service, fast delivery. Recommend the midweek meal deal, although half of one is plenty for me!

Great food and good delivery when it's not busy then delivery can be a little long but worth it for the food
