Coco Mill in Carlisle

Excellent service, steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it, starter prawns were spicy, atmosphere was brilliant, can't fault the visit at all.

4 went one had milk chicken and sweet potato fries. Another had the pulled beef and the other 2 the duck and noodles.We all enjoyed it but felt there wasn't quite enough noodles for the money, the portion could have been a bit bigger.Pudding was delicious but the girl who had the crumble was charged £4 for Ice cream instead of the custard that she didn't like to accompany it.Will definitely go back and will recommend it.

The drinks and food were absolutely lush but the one down fall was the peppercorn sauce. It tasted more of salt than it did peppercorn, completely inedible for both me and my partner, I did make our waiter aware but the waiter in question didn't seem to do much to inform anyone about the issue. I would happily return and recommend to friends and family (just not reordering/recommending the peppercorn sauce).

The food was good, particularly the sharing platter. Great choice of beers but the volume of the music was way too loud for a place that is primarily an eatery. Just couldn't hear conversation around the table so I wouldn't recommend it as a place to go if you are planning to have a hood chat.

Friendly staff and tasty food. A great cocktail menu which made it very difficult to behave myself and have a soft drink, but their soft drink menu is also more varied than most places. I ate a chicken katsu curry followed by the cheesecake of the day and both were delicious.

Love the venue, the aesthetic and the food is awesome, and the cocktails are fantastic. The only fault I could point out is that for me personally the music was quite loud even on the early evening, not unbearable or nightclub level but just a touch too loud for conversations to be regular audible level. I will still happily attend the venue again though

The food was delicious, no doubt, but the portion size to price ratio is way off..4 prawns as the starter with a dusting of greens was hardly worth it..The speed food was brought out and the friendliness of waiting staff was perfect. I commend their ability to work a full shift in that racket though as the music choice was questionable and far too loud..Not at all how the hype made you out, overall a fair but disappointing experience

Nice food with good size portions, swift service and friendly staff but the background music was a bit too loud for me.
