First time coming to David's after passing it so often. Chris was very welcoming as soon as went inside. The staff were also fantastic. Meals were very nice and tasty. Overall experience was 5 out 5. I would recommend coming to this restaurant and will be coming back in the future.

A delightful dining experience. A warm welcome and attentive staff. I had fillet steak which was tender and tasty while my husband had venison. Good value for money Tuesday night out.

The food was ok, the service was ok`ish. The wine arrived with a great flourish. Is that the one you want ? Yes. Well the price has just jumped from 20 something to 30 something is that ok? ( or are you too poor?)They could have scratched it on the menu in a ball point pen , they could have mentioned it when it was ordered or they could just take the ****

I took my partner to David's restaurant for his Birthday.We were passing this restaurant so many times and we said we should go there some day. Well I thought as it is his Birthday I will take him for nice meal.WoW..... thats all I can say. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were coming now and again and ask how was food and if everything was ok. Very nice touch.Food is really good. We had 3 course meal deal (if that what u can say) we had starters which was delicious (added pictures) then we had mains which meat was nice and tender just how it should be and dessert was lovely (it was enough on plate, not overloades.).Price was good as well, ohh and they have really nice selection of Wine.I will defo come back there.Fully recommend the place. You won't be disappointed.

Really great food.Came one Friday lunch time and didn't know Carlisle, but researched and this place looked the best.We weren't disappointed either. Food was great, and one of the tastiest pieces of beef I've had in a long while (and I've eaten a ton!).Will definitely be back.(Strange 80s decor though 😂)
