Brilliant place. Food was excellent and hospitality first class. They loved our dogs who were spoilt rotten. 4 miles from Brampton. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

A very nice pub with classic deco, friendly staff, decent choice of local ales and delicious food. Ordered Southern fried chicken burger and steak pie, which were both yummy.

This was the best Sunday lunch I've had for a long long time. The food was piping hot and the Turkey meal had so many vegetables on it, it was fab, plus a Yorkshire... Always a bonus...Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back.. Thanks..

Can't recommend this pub for Sunday Lunch highly enough. Three of us had the fuller lunch and it was super tasty and very, very filling. Service was second to none, food fantastic and it was very reasonably priced. Probably the best food around, in my opinion.

What a place! We stopped here for lunch and this just added to a brilliant day. The place has such a relaxed and friendly feel. There was plenty of room for our group of 7, and they seated us where we didn't feel we would disturb others (3 toddlers - you know how it is). The menu had lots of choice and they were happy to swap and whatever we wanted to be honest. The battered fish was very big, very tasty and definitely filled me up. I would highly recommend coming here even if you have young children.

Very lovely ambience and superb, friendly service on a Saturday night in February. Great range of hand-pull beers and a decent menu selection. I enjoyed a delicious sea bass dish - top notch!Also, very dog friendly!

The most delicious Sunday dinner and fish and chips we have had in ages.What a gorgeous cozy place to eat.The staff we lovely and attentive, especially since we had our red labrador with us.Highly recommended

Lovely and relaxing lunch, sitting in the marquee at the front overlooking the village green. Very attentive staff and good food. Dog friendly!

A fantastic pub with great food and friendly staff. We tried it by chance when in the area and it was a brilliant find! Will certainly be going again.
