Can't go to Carlisle without getting a Fontanas!! 20mile from us and the food is still hot by the time we get home. Huge portions too. Really good food.

Great quality, dry crispy chips with good flavour and quality haddock with a moist texture, maybe slightly too much batter for me. Regular chips was enough for 2!

The place is great with very nice staff. The food is delicious and portions are very generous. The big pot of gravy or curry sauce is good for up to 4 people. It is worth visiting. If you will go on Friday you may expect a bit longer wait and nowhere to park, so you may have to park a bit away from the place. Not sure about across the road as there is b&m parking, but please check if you can park there and leave the site as you may get a ticket. Enjoy your meal!!!
