Agree, food is excellent, been here several times and ate in and took away, last nights visit was again good food but dreadful service, plates were taken when some of our party were still eating, got asked to pay twice and felt almost thrown out the door, was busy when we arrived but not when we finished eating, one particular staff member was lacking in customer service, good job the food was good as the service was poor

Food was fine cod chips sausage chips mushies all ok pricey but I should have known from previous experience my son and I ordered curry sauce!, trust me it's not curry sauce some sort of sweet sauce with sweetcorn and what I assume was raisens luckily we didn't pour all over meal else we would have left the lot, don't assume it's like commonly known Chinese curry sauce I love spicy sauces but this was more of a sweet dessert sauce.

Great plaice for a good bit of fodder on your travels, they have lots of homemade delights on offer and your traditional fish and chip shop with a twist. There is seating available inside not a huge amount but enough. I'd definitely recommend if your passing to call in and give the food a try.

Old school chippy in a unique place.. plenty to choose from the menu and a good selection. We had a lovely meal and will definitely call back in when passing through.

Had a really lovely meal here with a decent cup of tea and coffee. Called in here on returning from wildlife park. Great social distancing and hygiene so felt extremely comfortable to eat here staff are lovely definitely worth a visit if you're passing
