Ordered here last night and food came in a good time and was lovely and hot ... the chilli shredded beef was delicious and my daughter had the one spring roll I expected it to be a small spring roll but it was huge!! So I got half lol very tasty !! Cant fault it in any way !! Will definitely order again.

Wonderful Chinese,host is lovely and his little boy gave a lollipop to our daughter which was a nice little touch! Definitely recommend food is lovely!

Just received my order from joyful House and am very disappointed the chowmain is very flavourless and watery!! The chips sausage with oniom gravy was literally onions put on top and missing sausage. Would avoid at all costs disgusting!!

Just had joyful house for the first time and it was incredible I WILL NOT be going anywhere else from on !!! The pork dumplings were the best I have ever had and the chicken satay was to die for head and shoulders above anywhere else in carlisle good job guys thankyou very much 👍

Best Chinese takeaway in carlisle area. I’ve tried others during the lock down only to throw it in the bin. The joyful house is the only Chinese takeaway for me.

Our go to Chinese , wouldn't go anywhere else , gone for over 10 years , always top class food , don't believe the 10-15 minute pick up time as it's often quite a bit longer but worth the wait

Always great, fresh food, guy always happy in there.. Clean shop which is something I like in a food place.. Should say been going 20yrs...but not everyday 😂

Food seems healthier than other take aways buy is just as or more tasty. Some items on the menu that I haven't seen anywhere else in Carlisle. Usually quick, we usually pick.up so don't know about delivery.
