Rare find!! Lovely Gluten free fish & chips - batter was nice & crispy. Very friendly staff. Chose this instead of ridiculously priced meals at the hotel we were staying at. Just driving from up North to down South and will definitely be back on another trip.

I had Gluten free fish and chips and peas. I had to wait a little while because they had to do it specially but not a problem. I had the biggest plateful that even challenged my hearty appetite. So much in fact that I had to abandon some chips as I was stuffed. Good food and a good price 👌

I was very impressed with this restaurant. Amazing fish and chips at a brilliant price from very talented and respectful staff. They served me long after they officially closed, me not knowing the time they closed.Thank you!!!

Sat inside to eat with 2 work colleagues. Large Cod, chips & mushy peas all REALLY tasty and perfectly cooked. Faultless, friendly service from the owners and staff. A cracking little find and I will definitely be revisiting. Can't wait until next time!! Many thanks :-)

Amazing fish and chips. The best in Carlisle! Service is always brilliant, the owner is incredibly friendly and hardworking . Never had a bad meal here. The fish rivals that from the coast.

Fantastic cod and chips/steak pie and chips /sausage, egg and chips. The best chippy dinners that me and my family have had in a long time. We had a table inside rather than take out and the owner and staff were really helpful and friendly despite it being a very busy bank holiday.

Husband had a great gluten free fish and chips with mushy peas. If we lived closer we would never be out of there. We think it is the owner he was brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. If we are ever back in Carlisle we will definitely come back.

I rang to enquire about gluten free options. The owner was incredibly helpful and he kindly offered to keep the restaurant open later in order for me to get there. He was so friendly and genuinely interested in my reasons for being gluten free. The kitchen was immaculate and he made certain my meal was not contaminated. He offered gluten free vinegar too! I cannot speak more highly about the owner and Mammas Fish Restaurant. The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning. Perfect!
